Zunächst müssen Sie die optimale Befestigung für die Haube ermitteln. Dazu
stülpen Sie die Haube über den Türgriff und sehen, wo genügend Platz zum An-
bringen der Befestigungslaschen ist. (Zeichnung: Möglichkeiten 1–4). Liegt die
Position fest, drücken Sie dort die Befestigungswinkel hinein. Bei den anderen
Möglichkeiten klicken Sie die Endabschlüsse ein.
Die Befestigungswinkel haben drei verschiedene Möglichkeiten der Montage:
Wenn Sie die erste bzw. zweite zum Einrasten wählen, sitzt die Haube nicht di-
rekt auf der Tür, sondern es entsteht ein Spalt (bei unebenen Flächen unbedingt
zu empfehlen). Bei der dritten Lösung befindet sich die Haube direkt auf der Tür.
Hierzu nehmen Sie einen spitzen Gegenstand (z. B. Kugelschreiber, Schrauben-
zieher, Schere), drücken die eingerastete Befestigungslasche aus dem Vierkant
und den Befestigungswinkel so tief in die Haube bis er in dem unteren Vierkant
einrastet.
Jetzt die beiden grünen Unterplatten mit den beigefügten Befestigungsschrau-
ben auf der Tür anbringen. In eine grüne Unterplatte eine rote Oberplatte ste-
cken, die Fluchttürhaube einführen und mit einer zweiten roten Oberplatte in der
oberen Befestigung fixieren. Das mitgelieferte Piktogramm auf die Fluchttürhau-
be aufkleben.

ENTSORGUNGSHINWEIS
Entsorgen Sie das Altgerät über eine Sammelstelle für Elektronikschrott oder
über Ihren Fachhändler. Entsorgen Sie das Verpackungsmaterial in die Sammel-
behälter für Pappe, Papier und Kunststoffe. Altgeräte dürfen nicht mit dem
Hausmüll entsorgt werden.

First, you need to determin where to fix the GfS Exit Cover K on the door. When
putting the GfS Exit Cover over the door handle it becomes clear where there is

In these positions the mounting brackets are pressed into the opening of the GfS
Exit Cover K. The end caps are clicked into all other wholes, which are not used
for the mounting.
The mounting brackets might be installed in three different positions: When
selecting the first or second option, the GfS Exit Cover K is not sitting directly on
the door (at uneven surfaces highly recommended). With the third option the GfS
Exit Cover K sits directly on the door. To do this, take a pointed object (e.g. pen,
screwdriver, scissors), press the fixing latch so far out of the square-end and the
mounting bracket so deep into the GfS Exit Cover K that it snaps into the lower
square-end.
The GfS Exit Cover Type K is used to secure door handles. The cover is made out
of the transparent and unbreakable material Makrolon. In case of an emergency
the cover can be lifted by force. The pins of the patented red clips break and the
cover falls down. The cover can be reused only the red upper plates have to be
replaced.
1. Mount the two green under plates with the accompanying screws
on the door.
2. Fix one red upper plate onto the lower green under plate. Insert the GfS Exit
Cover K and fix the second red upper plate with the upper fastening lug onto
the upper green under plate.
3. Glue the provided pictogram on the GfS Exit Cover K.
