12. Use only with the cart, stand,
tripod, bracket, or table specied
by the manufacturer, or sold with
the apparatus. When a cart is used,
use caution when moving the
cart/apparatus combination to avoid
injury from tip-over.
13. Unplug this apparatus during lightening storms or
when unused for long periods of time.

This product utilizes a Class 1 laser to read Compact Discs. This laser Compact Disc Player is equipped with
safety switches to avoid exposure when the CD door is open and the safety interlocks are defeated. Invisible laser
radiation is present when the CD Player’s lid is open and the system’s interlock has failed or been defeated. It is
very important that you avoid direct exposure to the laser beam at all times. Please do not attempt to defeat or
bypass the safety switches.

Power the unit by connecting it to one of the following power sources.
█ AC/DCADAPTER
Use the 9V AC/DC Adapter to connect the unit to a standard AC outlet.
█ DCCARADAPTER
Use the 12V DC Car Adapter to connect the unit to a vehicle’s DC Power Outlet, such
as a car lighter outlet.
Adjust the PowerSwitchto the “ON” position to power the unit on.
█ PLAYINGADVD
Load a DVD into the player.
The DVD should start playing
automatically.
1. If the DVD does not start playing
automatically, press the Play/Pause
Button.
█ CONNECTINGTHEINCLUDED
SCREEN
The included Screen has a DCPower
Inputand a DCPowerOutput.
1. To power both the main unit and the
screen, connect the AC/DC Adapter or
DC Car Adapter directly to the screen,
then use the included power cable to
connect the screen and main unit.
2. Connect the included Composite A/V
Cable to the video and audio outputs
on the main unit to the video and audio
inputs on the screen.

Load a DVD into the player.
1. Adjust the PowerSwitch to the “ON”
position.
The DVD should start playing
automatically.
2. If the DVD does not start playing
automatically, press the Play/Pause
Button.
• Press the Skip/SearchButtons to skip
through chapters on a loaded DVD.
Press and hold the Skip/Search
Buttons to fast-forward and rewind
through a loaded DVD.
• Press the StopButton to stop a DVD
during play.
• Press the SubtitleButton to access the
different subtitle options for the loaded
DVD.
�Press the AudioButton on the remote
to access the different audio options for
the loaded DVD.
�Press the ProgramButton to program
a loaded DVD to play chapters in a
chosen order.
Up to 20 items can be programmed at
any one time.
�Press the RepeatButton once to repeat
the current DVD chapter.
Press the RepeatButton twice to repeat
the current title.
Press the RepeatButtonthree times to
repeat the entire DVD.
Press the RepeatButton four times to
turn the repeat function off.

The CD should start playing

3. Use the NumberKeypadto enter in
the track numbers in the order you want
them to play.
Up to 20 tracks can be programmed at
one time.
4. Use the DirectionalButtons to
highlight the “Start” option on the
display, and press the SelectButton.
• Press the StopButton twice to reset the
programmed tracks.

█ USINGTHEHEADRESTSTRAPS
1. Slide the main unit and the included screen into their headrest strap cases.
2. Run the headrest strap through the HeadRestStrapConnections on the back of the
main unit and the included screen.
3. Tighten the straps around the headrests of a vehicles seats.
