The!Greenleaf!250!shower!waste!pump!comprises!the!tank!housing,!the!motor!
and!pump!assembly.!The!pump!is!only!suitable!for!use!in!domestic!wastewater!
installations.!
The!unit!activates!and!deactivates!automatically!depending!on!fluid!levels!in!the!
unit.!

To!ensure!continued!reliability!of!the!pump!unit,!only!wastewater!from!showers!
and!hand!basins!should!be!connected!to!this!pump.!
!Do#not#connect#toilets#or#waste#disposal#units#to#this#pump.##
No!other!liquids!or!solids!should!be!allowed!to!enter!the!pump!as!they!can!cause!
items!the!pump!to!clog,!malfunction!or!to!burnout!the!motor.!!
The!maximum!temperature!of!the!fluid!entering!the!pump!must!not!exceed!50*c!
in!normal!permanent!operation.!

The!unit!comprises!a!tank!that!holds!the!wastewater!and!an!electric!powered!
pump,!which!pumps!the!wastewater!away.!
The!unit!is!automatically!controlled!and!operated!via!a!pressure!switch!inside!

The!pump!will!start!operating!when!wastewater!flows!into!the!storage!tank!from!
a!shower!or!basin!unit.!!

The!unit!is!to!be!used!only!in!the!manner!described!in!this!instruction!sheet.!

Never!lift!or!carry!the!unit!by!the!power!cable.!
Ensure!the!power!plug!is!connected!in!an!area!that!is!dry!and!in!a!flood!proof!

When!installing!this!unit!please!ensure!that!the!vertical!lift!of!the!discharge!line!
precedes!any!horizontal!lift!in!the!discharge!line!and!should!be!as!close!as!
possible!to!the!outlet!elbow!on!the!unit.!
Once!you!have!started!the!horizontal!run!of!the!discharge!line!you!should!not!
add!any!further!vertical!lift!into!the!discharge!line.!
Note:!each!bend!or!change!of!direction!in!the!discharge!line!will!cause!minor!
losses!from!the!published!discharge!figures!for!this!unit.!

Where!possible,!the!nonYreturn!valve!on!the!discharge!line!should!be!installed!
vertically.!If!the!nonYreturn!valve!is!installed!in!a!horizontal!position!ensure!that!
the!arrow!on!the!valve!is!at!the!top.!This!will!allow!the!nonYreturn!flapper!to!
hang!vertical!and!operate!in!a!correct!manner.!
The!nonYreturn!valve!has!a!sealed!fit!into!the!outlet!connection!of!the!unit!and!is!
secured!by!a!steel!clamp.!
The!nonYreturn!valve!has!a!flexible!connector!on!the!discharge!end!to!allow!
either!a!23!mil!or!28!mil!pipe!to!be!connected.!Steel!clamps!are!supplied!with!the!
unit!to!connect!the!valve!to!the!discharge!line.!

The!unit!has!two!40!mil!wastewater!input!connections!on!either!side!of!the!tank!
to!allow!a!shower!connection!from!either!the!left!or!right!side.!A!blanking!plug!is!

These!two!40!mil!inlet!connections!are!at!32!mil!centres!from!floor!level.!
