Performance Issue, Uneven or Unstable- Make
sure all nuts and bolts are tight on the product. If they
are, then loosen all nuts and bolts 1 full turn counter-
clockwise, then go back and tighten each bolt only ½
turn tight. Then do a final tighten turn for another ½
turn tight. Next, Make sure there are not any missing
nuts or bolts. Third, ensure all parts on the product
are not broken or defective. Finally, Re-read the
assembly instructions or watch the product
demonstration video to ensure you have correctly
assembled or are using the product properly with
factory specifications.
Missing Parts- The pictures, videos and images
shown in this manual might have changed style or
count due to the product being redesigned. So in rare
cases the part may no longer be included or of a
different style. However, if you think you are missing
a part that is necessary to the assembly and use of
your product, then first carefully double check all
packaging for any parts you think are missing. Some
parts might be hiding in the packaging or loose in an
inner box.

Stand. Your product comes with a 1 year factory
warranty from purchase date. Please read all
assembly instructions prior to assembling your new
cart. Pictures that may aid in assembly can be found
by going to www.griffin-stands.com and typing H600A
into the search bar.
Place the whole assembly back
and adjust the hi-hat clutch to
your preferred distance over
the bottom cymbals (Figure 5)
and tighten the wing nut. (See
Figure 6) There is a screw below
the cymbal seat which controls
the tilt position of the cymbals.
You may adjust this according
to preferred angle of the
cymbals and attach the hi-hat
clutch to the top cymbals and
insert through the stand, secure
by screwing the knob in. Figure

Step 1 –Take the stand and
align the bottom plate to the
slots. Screw in the pedal
plates on the side by using a
drum key. This secures the
pedal of the stand itself.
Step 2 –Spread the legs wide
enough to support the stand.
(See Figure 1) Tighten the
knob to where the legs meet
near the base to secure the
legs. (See Figure 2)

Step 4 –Unscrew the top wing nut remove the hi-hat
clutch, place your bottom cymbal over the cymbal seat
and the top cymbal seat on the hi-hat clutch.
Step 3 - As seen on Figure 3,
this shows how to insert the
hihat rod. It may or may not
be already inserted through
the main pipe of the stand,
this goes in the main pipe by
screwing the rod in. Then take
middle section pipe and insert
the hi-hat rod through and
over the main stand’s top.
Secure by turning the knob as
shown in Figure 4 and using a
drum key to secure the
memory lock in place. This
secures the height of the
middle pipe of the stand and
also prevents the top pipe
from slipping.
Step 5 –The pedal tension
action is controlled by the black

legs meet. The higher the knob
threads up, results in a more firm or
stiff pedal action. On the other hand,
the lower the knob threads down,
makes the pedal action looser or
smoother. See Figure 9
Step 7 –On the hi-hat pedal there are 2 floor spikes that
can be screwed up and down to prevent the pedal from
slipping, to add grip to the floor, screw it down on both
sides depending on the floor and your preference as well.
Step 8 –(If using as a no-leg hi-hat stand.) To attach the hi
hat stand to another existing stand (not included), you will
need to use a drum adapter (not included). You may place
the mount on the middle pipe to support the hi hat stand
and insert the other end of the adapter to another stand
(see demonstration video).
Step 9 –For safety reasons, please always make sure to
test the stability and safety of the product before use.
Double check all nuts and bolts, knobs and connectors,
make sure that these are tight and securely fastened
before use of your product. Test the product under light
use or light loads the first time to confirm assembly and
structure of the product is correct.

stand to convert it to a no-leg hi hat stand.
