The2/4‐poleversionsofthethree‐phasemotorsintheIGseriesaredescribedintheseoperating
instructions.
Eachtypedesignationofthemotorsdescribedhereislistedandexplainedinthe"Technicaldata"section
(seeTechnicaldata/Note).
1.2 Informationontheseoperatinginstructions
Theseoperatinginstructionsenablesafeandefficienthandlingofthemotor.Theyareintegralpartofthe
motorandmustbeavailabletostaffalways.Staffmustreadtheoperatinginstructionsofthemotor
thoroughlyandunderstandthembeforecommencinganywork.Compliancewithallsafetyinstructionsand
guidelinesstatedintheoperatinginstructionsconstitutethebasicrequirementforsafeworkingpractices.
Furthermore,localaccidentpreventionregulationsandgeneralsafetydirectivesapplytothescopeof
applicationofthemotor.Illustrationsintheseoperatinginstructionsareonlyintendedtoconveythebasic
understandingandcandeviatefromtheactualmotor.Inaddition,payattentiontothemotordocumentsin
theappendix.
