Installing the crossbar to the
outlet box

parts necessary for installation.
Attach the crossbar (FF) to the outlet box with the two
outlet box screws (DD) as shown. The side of the
crossbar (FF) marked “GND” must face out.

NOTE: If you have electrical questions, consult your local
electrical code for approved grounding methods.
□Place the lock washer (CC) and the hex nut (BB) over
the end of the nipple (EE), thread the nipple (EE) into
the crossbar (FF), secure the nipple (EE) by threading
the upper hex nut (BB) tightly.

connections using the wire connectors (AA). Wrap the two wire
connections with electrical tape for a more secure connection. If
your outlet box has a ground wire (green or bare copper), connect
screw (GG) on the crossbar (FF).

Installing ceiling pan to the
ceiling
4 Installing the glass shade
□While holding the ceiling pan (A), place the ceiling pan (A)
over the nipple (EE), adjust the length of the end of nipple
(EE) protruding through the center hole of the ceiling pan
(A) and secure with the hex nut(BB). Thread the nial (C)
into the nipple (EE).

Align the Glass shade (B) to the Ceiling pan (A), and secure
with Screw nut (E) by hand.Caution: When securing the glass
shade,do not apply much pressure to the screw nuts.
□Installation is complete. Turn on the power at the circuit breaker
or fuse box. Turn the light switch on to activate the xture.
Install the light bulb (included) in accordance with the xture’s
specications. (DO NOT EXCEED THE MAXIMUM WATTAGE
RATING!!)

Maintenance
□Shut off the main power supply before performing any maintenance on the light.
□Wipe with damp cloth or use window cleaner. Do not use abrasives.
Care and Cleaning

Troubleshooting

The bulb will not light.
The bulb is burned out.
There is a faulty wire connection. Check the wiring.
There is a faulty switch. Test or replace the switch.
The fuse blows or circuit breaker
trips when the light is turned on. There are crossed wires or the
power wire is grounding out. Check the wire connections.
The power is off.
Replace the Light bulb.
Make sure power supply is on.
