Installation Instructions
Please refer to the component overview drawing!
Start by mounting the basic frame.
1. For the installation of the H&L Igloo
Verandah, select a place that is as level as
possible.
Position the lateral (IV1110) and the
front/rear segments (IV1210) at this
location according to a 5 x 5 metres set-up.
Note:
•taller side of the lateral segments toward the
igloo
•fastening brackets of the rear gates
(IV1310) pointing toward the igloo

2. Connect a lateral segment (IV1110) to a
front/rear segment (IV1210) (10 x 140mm
with square washers on both sides).
Do not tighten the nuts completely at this point!
3. Connect the other lateral segment (IV1110)
to the front/rear segment that was just
mounted (IV1210).
4. Install the other front/rear segment
(IV1210) between the two mounted lateral
segments (IV1110) (10 x 140mm with
square washers on both sides).
5. Push the support legs (IV1820) into those
square pipe support posts of the lateral
segments (IV1110) where no tyres will be
installed.
Secure the support legs (IV1820) with bolts
(10 x 100mm).
6. Bolt the tire admission with the rim of the
tire

7. Slide the axle of the wheel suspension
(IV1810) into the pipe located on the wheel
and secure it with a U washer and a pin.
Grease this connection through the
provided nipple.
8. Lift the square pipe support post of the
lateral segment (IV1110) in order to install
the wheel suspension into the bottom of the
square pipe.
Keep in mind the direction of movement
of the H&L Igloo Verandah.
9. Align all segments of the Verandah
properly on account of the distance between
the square pipe support posts located
diagonally from each other. Both diagonal
lines between the respective corners (across
the frame) have to have the same length.
At this point, tighten all nuts.
10. Install the spacer bar (IV1490) at the front
segment (IV1210) (10 x 70mm).

11. Since the separation fences (IV1320) are
preinstalled in the lateral segments
(IV1110), no installation work is needed.
However, if you prefer installing the feed
fencing (IV1400) into a lateral segment
(IV1110), the separation fence (IV1320) has
to be taken out of the lateral segment and has
to be installed into the front segment (10 x
140mm with square washers on both sides).
12. Install the feed fencing (IV1400), at your
discretion, either into a lateral segment or
the front segment (IV1210 or IV1110).

13. To install the feed fencing (IV1400), the
mobile strut bar can be removed. After
installing the feed fencing, put the bar back
into place in the fence.
14. At each segment of the feed fencing
(IV1400), fasten two mounting brackets
(IV1540) to the frame of the feed fence
(IV1400) (10 x 70mm). In doing so, ensure
that the bunk will be easily accessible from
each feeding spot.
Fasten the bunk holders (IV1510) to the
mounting brackets (IV1540) (10 x 30mm).
15. Secure the stainless steel bunk (IV1530) to
the bunk frame (IV1520) (6 x 20mm
carriage bolt and 6mm washer). Slide the
bunk frame (IV1520), with the stainless
stell bunk (IV1530) in it, into the provided
boreholes in the bunk holders and secure it
with ring pins. The bunk assembly can then
be suspended from the feed fencing using
chains (0.75m).

16. To install the rear gates (IV1310), fasten
them to the provided fastening brackets,
using bolts (14 x 40mm) and nuts (M14).
17. Mount the supports (IV1220) for the chain-
supported fence to the rear segment
(IV1210) (10 x 30mm).
18. Screw the lifting eye bolt into the rear gate
(IV1310) vertically (10 x 55mm lifting
eye). Click the spring hooks into the lifting
eye. Install the chains (1.5m) that will
support the fence at the rear segment
(IV1210) (8 x 60mm with 8mm washer).
19. To install the chain-supported fence, slide a
chain link horizontally over the pipe of the
fence (IV1230). Secure it to the pipe with a
bolt (6 x 35mm) and a nut (M6).
Make sure that the pipes are positioned
at approximately the same distance from
each other as the bars of the rear gates.
