Save This Manual
You will need the manual for the safety warnings and precautions, assembly instructions,
operating and maintenance procedures, parts list and diagram. Keep your invoice with this
manual. Write the invoice number on the inside of the front cover. Keep the manual and
invoice in a safe and dry place for future reference.
Safety Warnings and Precautions
WARNING:When using product, basic safety precautions should always be followed
to reduce the risk of personal injury and damage to equipment.
Read all instructions before using this product!
1. Keep work area clean. Cluttered areas invite injuries.
2. Observe work area conditions. Do not use Stove in damp or wet locations. Don’t
expose to rain. Keep work area well lighted.
3. Keep children away. Children must never be allowed in the work area. Do not let
them handle machines, tools, or extension cords.
4. Store idle equipment. When not in use, the Stove must be stored in a dry location to
inhibit rust. Always lock up the Stove and keep out of reach of children.
5. Use the right product for the job. Do not attempt to force a small product to do the
work of a larger industrial product. There are certain applications for which this
product was designed. It will do the job better and more safely at the rate for which it
was intended. Do not modify this product and do not use this product for a purpose
for which it was not intended.
6. Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing as it may contact the flame and catch
fire. Protective, electrically nonconductive clothes and nonskid footwear are
recommended when working. Wear restrictive hair covering to contain long hair.
7. Use eye and ear protection. Always wear ANSI approved impact safety goggles
when assembling the Stove.
8. Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and balance at all times.

LP Regulators and Hose Kits such as item # 33447 are available from Harbor Freight Tools.
Check with your local gas supplier for assistance in setting up and using the regulator.

9. Maintain Stove with care. Keep the Stove clean for better and safer performance.
10. Disconnect propane. Remove propane source hose when not in use.
11. Avoid unintentional starting. Do not attach the propane source hose to the Stove
unless you are ready to use it. Never leave the unit when it is attached to a fuel
source.
12. Stay alert. Watch what you are doing, use common sense. Do not operate the Stove
when you are tired.
13. Check for damaged parts. Before using the Stove, any part that appears damaged
should be carefully checked to determine that it will operate properly and perform its
intended function. Check for alignment and binding of moving parts; any broken parts
or mounting fixtures; and any other condition that may affect proper operation. Any
part that is damaged should be properly repaired or replaced by a qualified technician.
Do not use the Stove if any knob does not turn On and Off properly.
14. Replacement parts and accessories. When servicing, use only identical
replacement parts. Use of any other parts will void the warranty.
15. Do not operate the Stove if under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Read
warning labels if taking prescription medicine to determine if your judgement or
reflexes are impaired while taking drugs. If there is any doubt, do not operate the
Stove.
16. Maintenance. For your safety, maintenance should be performed regularly by a
qualified technician.
Warning:The warnings,cautions,and instructions discussed in this instruction manual
cannot cover all possible conditions and situations that may occur. It must be under-
stood by the operator that common sense and caution are factors which cannot be
built into this product, but must be supplied by the operator.
WARNING: The brass components of this product contain lead, a chemical known to the
State of California to cause birth defects (or other reproductive harm). (California Health &
Safety code 25249.5, et seq.)
Unpacking
When unpacking, check to make sure the parts listed on page 7 are included. If any parts
are missing or broken, please call Harbor Freight Tools at the number on the cover of this
manual as soon as possible.

1. This Stove is designed for outdoor use only. Do not use this Stove in a trailer, tent,
house, garage, or any enclosed area. Carbon Monoxide, an odorless, colorless deadly gas
may accumulate and cause serious injury or death.
2. Always use the Stove in an open area away from buildings, dry leaves or brush. Be
aware of wind blown sparks. Never operate this Stove near other flammable or combustible
sources or materials.
3. Avoid high pedestrian traffic areas. Do not allow people or pets to conduct activities
near the Stove while the unit is in use, or just following use. The Stove body is very hot during
and shortly after use.
4. Never use gasoline, kerosene, or other highly volatile fluids as a starter as they can
explode.
5. Never attempt to move a hot Stove.
6. Before operation, make sure all of the Stove parts are securely in place and that the
Stove is sitting on a flat, level, fire retardant surface.
7. Never leave a lit Stove unattended.
8. Do not clean the Stove with corrosive or combustible cleaners.
9. Make sure the propane tank is disconnected from the unit when the Stove is not in
use.
10. Never smoke when lighting the Stove. Make sure all surrounding flames are
extinguished.
11. Keep a fire extinguisher nearby and use baking soda to extinguish a grease fire. If
you do not have a commercial extinguisher, keep a bucket of sand and a garden hose at the
ready.
12. Prior to use, always check the male connection threads on the propane cylinder
and the female connection threads on the Stove Gas Valve Assembly for damage. Do
not use if you suspect damage to either the threads or the propane cylinder. Return the
cylinder to the gas distributor for replacement. If you suspect damage to the Gas Valve
Assembly on the Stove, discontinue use and replace the damaged part.
13. If any of the following problems exist, turn off the Stove immediately and have a
qualified technician check the stove:
a. The smell of gas in conjunction with extreme yellow tipping of the burner flames.
b. The Stove does not reach temperature.
c. The burner makes a popping noise during use. (A slight popping noise when the burner is
extinguished is normal.)
14. This Stove is designed to be fueled with propane usually found in cylinders like the
type used in gas barbecues.
15. Before each use, check connections and joints for gas leaks. Check hoses for
crack and wear. Replace cracked or worn hoses.
16. A normal lit burner should operate with a blue flame with a small yellow tip. Adjust if
the flame sputters or pops. If the flame is not operating normally, shut off the gas valve before
checking to see if anything is obstructing the gas flow. Do not operate the Stove if you feel it
is not operating in a normal fashion.
17. During use, if you notice a gas odor, shut down the Stove and carefully check for
leaks using soapy water. If the odor continues, contact your local gas supplier for
assistance.
18. Never reach across the Stove when cooking. The entire Stove is very hot during
operation.

Assembly
The unit comes from the factory with several strings keeping the hoses and stove parts in
place. Cut and dispose of the strings.
1. Place the threaded bolt imbedded in the Rubber Leg (#3) through the metal foot bracket
on one of the bottom corners of the stove. Secure it with one hand while adding a nut with the
other hand. Repeat on the four other corners.
This Stove is designed to be fueled with (LPG. = Liquid Petroleum Gas) propane usually
found in cylinders like the type used in gas barbecues.
1. Make sure the Knobs (#4) are all in the“Off” position.See FIGURE 1.
2. Situatethe propanecylinder (notincluded) outdoors,awayfrom pilotlights, flames,sparks,
or other ignition sources. Attach the male end of the regulator/hose to the cylinder.
Note: Read and adhere to all safety warnings and instructions provided in the regulator
manufacturer’s manual.
3. Attach the regulator/ hose (not included) from the propane cylinder by threading the female
end clockwise onto the Gas Inlet. Hand tighten only. Never use tools to tighten hoses onto
the valve assembly. Turn on the propane cylinder.
4. Check for gas leaks by:
a. Listen for the hiss of escaping gas.
b. If the cylinder feels extremely cold, a leak is possible.
c. Smell for a rotten egg odor.
d. Apply soapy water to all of the connections and look for bubbles.
If you find evidence of leakage, turn off the propane cylinder immediately. Redo the connec-
tion and test again.If it continues to leak, turn off the propane cylinder and disconnect. Con-
tact your local gas distributor to replace the cylinder and hose. If the leakage comes from the
valve on the Stove, contact Harbor Freight Tools for a replacement part.
Caution! Explosion Danger: Do not use the Stove if the gas is leaking.

Operation
Warning! Before operation, make sure the Stove is on a flat, level, fire retardant surface
capable of supporting the Stove and the items to be cooked.
1. You do need matches to start the Stove. We recommend using long, fireplace, wooden
matches.
Note: FIGURE 1 on page 5 illustrates which knob controls each burner.
2. Lightyour matchandposition thematchhead soitis almosttouchingthe outletholes on the
burner, and push in and turn one of the Knobs (#4) to the “To Light and Low“ position, the first
mark moving counterclockwise from the “off” position (see FIGURE 1 on page 5) to light the
Stove. Once it lights, move the Knob (#4) to the desired cooking position. See FIGURE 1 on
page 5. You must light each burner individually.
3. To shut off the stove, turn each Knob (#4) to “Off” (12 o’clock. Turn off the valve on the
propane cylinder.
4. Allow sufficient time for the Stove to completely cool before disconnecting and removing
the propane cylinder.
5. Unscrew the regulator/hose (not included) from the AssemblyValve in a counterclockwise
direction.
Always disconnect the propane cylinder from the Stove when it is not in use.
Maintenance and Storage
See FIGURE 1 on page 5.
1. Clean the Stove with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Dry the Stove.
Do not clean the Stove with corrosive or combustible cleaners.
2. When not in use, the Stove should be stored and locked up in a dry location to inhibit rust.
Always allow sufficient time for the Stove to cool before storing. Keep it out of reach of
children.
3. When storing, the propane cylinder and the regulator/hose must be removed from the
Stove.The propane cylinder and the regulator/hose should be stored indoors in a well venti-
lated area above ground level. Consult your local gas distributor for propane cylinder storage
guidelines.
4. Always make sure the valve on the propane cylinder is in the“Off” position during storage.
Do not perform any maintenance until the Stove has had ample time to cool down.
