Product Overview

The RocketStor 6421TS includes a 1U-4 Bay enclosure and a

HighPoint RocketRAID 27

11 HBA (Host Bus Adapter). This

pamphlet gives you a b

rief overview of the components you

should find in your package as well as the basic steps for getting

set up.

Hardware Installation

Set up the Enclosure:

1. Place the Enclosure on a flat surface.

2. Place physical drives in each disk tray (up to 4). Slide the locking

mechanism to the left; when the tab pops out, pull the disk tray out.

3. Place each hard disk in

a tray as shown below. Then insert the disk

trays back into enclosure.

4. Connect the enclosure to both power receptacles.

Set Up the HBA

1. Insert the included RocketRAID 2711 into an available PCIe 2.0 x8

or compatible PCIe slot on your PC/Mac motherboard

2. Connect the HBA and enclosure together with a mini-SAS to mini-

SAS cable (SFF-8088)

Creating RAID Arrays (Supported RAID Levels:

0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50,

and JBOD)

1. Login to the WebGUI (Default username: hpt / pass: RAID)

Click the Logical Tab

3.

Click Create Array. (For more information, refer to the

RocketStor 6421TS user manual posted online)
