Maximum slze is 1800 x 320 mm. For longer workpieces machining some sort of table
extension is to be applied.
Minitnal size is 450 x 50 x 30 mm. Smaller works to be machined using adequate auxiliaries.
Thicknessing
Maximum size is 1800 x 405 x 230 nun. For longer workpieces machining some sort of table
extension is to be applied.
Minimal size is 350 x 20 x 5 mm.
8.0 OPERATION
8.1 Planing
The planing device consists of
- Feed table (A)
- Retrieve table (B)
- Knife shaft cover (C)
- Groove guide (D)
- Ball handle (E)
- Fixing bolt (F)
- Connecting bolt (G)
Prior to preparation work for thicknessing, the machine must come to a stop by main switch.
By screwing of the fixing bolt (F), the feed table (A) can be set for the required planing
thickness max.5 mm) with the ball handle (E). The retrieve table (B) comes on the
other side. The groove guide (D) swivels from 90° to 45° and can be set along the
whole length of the knives screwing the connecting bolt (G).

5. Do not push the workpiece with finger tips or hands.
6. For small workpieces apply auxiliaries
7.. Check up for defects (nails, knots, etc.)
8. When surface of job is uneven, begin with the side from which less material is removed.
9. By sudden fall of working force e.g. power supply cut off, stop immediately the forward
feed. .
Planing of small workpieces
Take off the knives cover C and place it to the groove guide at distance equal to the width of
the workpiece (fig. l).
Press the workplece with the left hand agalnst tlie groove guide D and feed table A and feed
uniformly with the right hand (Fingers of both hands must be collected in fists and the thumbs

For small jobs always use auxiliary supports.
Attention! The hands must never be placed on the knives shaft. The hand must always
be behind the knives shafts and the right hand must push the workpiece till
shortly before the shaft and then be withdrawn. The workpiece must always be
fed from above.
Planing of jobs of greater width.
•Shift forward groove guide so that the required planing space is free.
