Routine Maintenance (1)
Definition
Routine maintenance is scheduled maintenance carried out to ensure ro er syste
m o erating
and to therefore avoid any unscheduled breakdown and downtime.
Routine maintenance hel s the O&M ersonnel to:
Find and handle alarms related to equi ment o erating in a timely manner.
Discover otential risks in a timely manner, reventing faults that could ossi
bly cause economic losses and reduce customer satisfaction.
Analyze the system o erating trend based on collected information and take meas
ures to
im rove o erating efficiency.
Precautions
Read all the recautions and roduct documentation before erforming routine
maintenance.
Follow local laws and safety instructions to minimize the risk of ersonal inju
ry and damage to equi ment. The "NOTICE", "CAUTION", "WARNING", and "DANGER“ s
tatements in this document do not re resent all the safety instructions. They a
re only su lements to the safety instructions. Therefore, only trained and qua
lified ersonnel can install, o erate, and maintain Huawei equi ment, and they
must understand basic safety recautions to avoid hazards.

Pay attention to the safety symbols on the equi ment and all safety instruction
s in this document. The safety recautions given in this document do not cover
all safety recautions. Huawei will not be liable for any consequence caused by
violation of the safety o eration regulations and design, roduction, and usage
standards.
Most maintenance tasks should be erformed only after the ower su ly is disco
nnected from the equi ment. Do not connect the ower su ly during maintenance.
If you need to erform maintenance tasks such as measuring the current, voltage
, and tem erature when the equi ment is o erating, connect the ower su ly onl
y after you have finished all equi ment connections. Disconnect the ower su l
y when you finish maintenance.
Protective measures must be taken during electrical maintenance, such as wearin
g
insulation gloves or shoes.
