Wprowadzenie
Ogólna charakterystyka drewna
Drewno jest naturalnym produktem, w którym mogą wystąpić różnice i odchylenia w kolorze, ziarnistości
i strukturze. Są to cechy drewna litego i nie stanowią one wad i/lub usterek. W przypadku produktów
naturalnych zawsze mogą pojawić się dopuszczalne odchylenia wymiarów i liniowości. Drewno może
odkształcać się pod wpływem zmian wilgotności względnej. W związku z tym konieczny jest okres
aklimatyzacji. Zmiany w drewnie zależą również od miejsca, w którym produkty są montowane.
Konserwacja
Produkty Hunter Douglas praktycznie nie wymagają obsługi, ze względu na wykorzystanie wysokiej jakości
materiałów i sprawdzonych lakierów. W przypadku konieczności czyszczenia, zalecamy czyszczenie sutów
wilgotną, niepozostawiającą kłaczków i nieścierną szmatką, a w razie potrzeby, prostym nieściernym
detergentem (o pH=7). Kontakt z agresywnymi roztworami czyszczącymi może spowodować uszkodzenia
produktu. Należy zawsze wypróbować roztwór czyszczący w pierwszej kolejności na niewidocznej części.
Certykacja
Hunter Douglas posiada certykaty Cradle to Cradle, CE, FSC, PEFC, ISO 9001 i ISO 14001. Drewno z
certykatem FSC i PEFC może zostać dostarczone na zamówienie, jeśli jest dostępne w wymaganych
wymiarach i rodzaju drewna. Jeśli dostarczane drewno jest certykowane, zostanie to opisane w naszym
potwierdzeniu zamówienia.
Dostawa
Produkty Hunter Douglas standardowo dostarczane są w drewnianych skrzyniach. Zapewniają one ochronę
podczas transportu. Skrzynie należy wystawić z samochodu ciężarowego pojedynczo, a na placu budowy
powinny być transportowane przez wózki widłowe lub wózki paletowe. Nie wolno ciągnąć lub pchać skrzyń
wewnątrz samochodów ciężarowych.
Na początku pracy skrzynie należy otwierać ostrożnie. Należy zachować ostrożność przy korzystaniu z
ostrych przedmiotów podczas usuwania opakowania, aby uniknąć uszkodzenia produktów Hunter Douglas.
Przechowywanie
• Produkty drewniane Hunter Douglas powinny przez 2 do 3 dni zaaklimatyzować się na budowie przed
rozpoczęciem pracy.
• Produkty Hunter Douglas należy przechowywać w wentylowanym pomieszczeniu: Wilgotność względna
od 55% do 65%, najlepiej w temperaturze pokojowej, a przynajmniej zabezpieczone przed mrozem.
• Produktów Hunter Douglas nigdy nie należy umieszczać bezpośrednio na betonowej posadzce, a na
belkach drewnianych o równej wysokości.
• Aby uniknąć przebarwień, należy przechowywać produkty Hunter Douglas z daleka od
promieniowania UV.
• Skrzynie mogą być ustawiane jedna na drugą do maksymalnie dwóch jednostek wysokości.
Wentylacja
W czasie składowania i montażu produktów Hunter Douglas pomieszczenie powinno być do pewnego
stopnia wentylowane. Podczas użytkowania produktów Hunter Douglas w wilgotnych miejscach, ważne
jest, aby pomieszczenie było dobrze wentylowane, powyżej, jak również poniżej sutu.
Uwaga
• Podczas prac z produktami Hunter Douglas należy zawsze używać rękawic (bawełnianych), aby chronić
produkt przed odciskami palców i przed innymi uszkodzeniami.
• Wycięcia do opraw oświetleniowych i innych urządzeń należy wykonać przed montażem produktów
Hunter Douglas. Wszystkie instalacje (rury wentylacyjne, gazowe, kable elektryczne, itp.) należy zawsze
mocować do konstrukcji budynku.
• Należy zawsze korzystać ze sporządzonego projektu układu sutu, jeśli został dostarczony.
• Zaciski (klipsy) Hunter Douglas są ostre i mogą powodować skaleczenia.

Introduction
General characteristics of wood
Wood is a natural product, dierences and anomalies in colour, grain and structure can occur.
These are characteristics of solid wood and they are not defects and/or faults. With a natural product
associated tolerances always apply. Wood can deform under the inuence of changing relative
humidity. An acclimatisation period is therefore necessary. The changes in the wood also depend on the
area in which the products are installed.
Maintenance
The Hunter Douglas product is virtually maintenance free, because of the use of high quality materials
and tested varnishes. Should cleaning be necessary, then we advise to clean the ceiling with a damp
lintless and non-abrasive cloth and if necessary a simple non-abrasive (pH=7) detergent. Exposing the
product to aggressive cleaning solutions can damage it. Always try the cleaning solution rst on
a non visible part.
Certication
Hunter Douglas has Cradle to Cradle, CE, FSC, PEFC, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certicates.
FSC and PEFC certied wood can be delivered on request, if this is available in the desired
measurements and type of wood. If the delivered wood is certied then this will be mentioned on
our order conrmation.
Delivery
Hunter Douglas products are standard delivered in wooden crates. These provide protection during
transport. The crates should be taken out of the lorry one by one and on the building site they should
be transported by forklift truck or pallet wagon. Never pull or push crates along inside lorries.
When starting to work open the crates with care. Caution with sharp objects is required while
removing the packaging to avoid damaging the Hunter Douglas products.
Storage
• It would be preferable to let the Hunter Douglas products, acclimatise for 2 to 3 days before
starting the work.
• The Hunter Douglas products need to be stored in a conditioned space: Relative humidity
between 55% - 65% and preferably room temperature but minimally frost free.
• Never place the Hunter Douglas products directly onto a concrete oor but on timbers of
equal height.
• To avoid unequal discolouration store the Hunter Douglas products away from UV light.
• The crates can be stacked up to a maximum of 2 units high.
Ventilation
During storage and installation of Hunter Douglas products, the room needs to be ventilated to some
degree. When using Hunter Douglas products in damp spaces it is important that the room is well
ventilated, above as well as below the ceiling.
Attention
• When handling Hunter Douglas products always use (cotton) gloves to protect the product from
nger prints and other damage.
• Cut outs for lighting xtures and other appliances should be made before the Hunter Douglas
products are installed. All amenities (gas pipes, electricity cables etc.) must always be secured
to the building structure.
• If provided always refer to the drawn up layout plan.
• The Hunter Douglas clips are sharp and can cause cuts.

Einleitung
Allgemeine Holzeigenschaften
Holz ist ein Naturprodukt, daher können Farbe, Maserung und Struktur Unterschiede und
Abweichungen aufweisen. Diese Merkmale sind für Massivholz charakteristisch und nicht als Mängel
und/oder Fehler zu erachten. Unter dem Einuss schwankender Luftfeuchtigkeitswerte arbeitet das Holz
und kann sich verziehen. Aus diesem Grund ist eine Akklimatisierungsperiode notwendig. Das Arbeiten
des Holzes ist auch abhängig von dem Raum, in dem die Produkte installiert sind.
Pege
Dieses Hunter Douglas-Produkt ist aufgrund der Verwendung hochwertiger Materialien und umfassend
getesteter Lacke besonders pegeleicht. Die Decke kann bei Bedarf mit einem weichen, feuchten,
fusselfreien Tuch gereinigt werden ggf. unter Hinzugabe eines nichtätzendem haushaltsüblichem
Reinigungsmittel. Aggressive Reinigungsmittel schaden dem Produkt. Probieren Sie das
Reinigungsmittel immer erst an verdeckter Stelle aus.
Zertizierung
Hunter Douglas verfügt über die Zertizierungen Cradle to Cradle, CE, FSC, PEFC, ISO 9001 und
ISO 14001. Auf Anfrage kann FSC- und PEFC-zertiziertes Holz geliefert werden, wenn dies in der
gewünschten Holzsorte und Abmessung erhältlich ist. Wenn das gelieferte Holz eine Zertizierung hat,
wird dies in unserer Auftragsbestätigung angegeben.
Lieferung
Die Hunter Douglas-Produkte werden in Holzkisten geliefert. Diese dienen dem Schutz während
des Transports. Die Kisten müssen einzeln aus dem LKW geladen und per Gabelstapler oder
Palettenwagen an den Montageort gebracht werden. Die Kisten im LKW gegen verschieben sichern.
Die Kisten zu Beginn der Arbeiten vorsichtig önen. Bei Beseitigung der Verpackung mit scharfen
Gegenständen ist Vorsicht geboten, damit eine Beschädigung der Hunter Douglas-Produkte
vermieden wird.
Lagerung
• Die Hunter Douglas-Produkte vorzugsweise 2 bis 3 Tage vor Beginn der Arbeiten akklimatisieren lassen.
• Die Hunter Douglas-Produkte sind in einem klimatisierten Raum zu lagern: Relative Luftfeuchtigkeit
55-65%, vorzugsweise Zimmerthemperatur, in jedem Fall frostsicher.
• Legen Sie die Hunter Douglas-Produkte nie direkt auf den Betonboden sondern auf Träger von
gleicher Dicke.
• Um eine unterschiedliche Verfärbung zu verhindern, sind die Hunter Douglas-Produkte vor
UV-Licht geschützt zu lagern.
• Es dürfen maximal zwei (2) Kisten übereinander gestapelt werden.
Lüftung
Sowohl bei der Lagerung als auch bei der Montage der Hunter Douglas-Produkte ist für mäßige
Belüftung des Raums zu sorgen. Bei Verwendung eines Hunter Douglas-Produkts in feuchten Räumen
ist es wichtig, dass der Raum sowohl über als auch unter der Decke gut belüftet wird.
Hinweis
• Zum Schutz vor Fingerabdrücken und Beschädigungen sollten Sie beim Umgang mit den
Hunter Douglas-Produkten immer Stohandschuhe (aus Baumwolle) tragen.
• Aussparungen für Beleuchtung und technische Einbauten immer vor der Montage der
Hunter Douglas-Produkte anbringen. Sämtliche Vorrichtungen sind immer an der tragenden
Decke zu befestigen.
• Ziehen Sie bitte immer den Verlegeplan zu Rate, sofern dieser für das Bauvorhaben erstellt wurde.
• Die Hunter Douglas-Clips sind funktionsbedingt scharf und können Schnittwunden verursachen.
