3 .... USE AS WET CLEANER
- Always remove the canister-type pre-filter and (if used) the cartridge filter element
(optional).
WARNING: When the vacuumed liquids reach the maximum tolerated level in the container
(drum), the suction action is automatically blocked by the safety float and the
noise level of the appliance increases all of a sudden.
Turn off the motors and release the motor unit in order to empty the container
(drum).
4 .... TO CLEAN UP LARGE AMOUNTS OF LIQUIDS
- In order to suck up liquids from containers, do not fully immerse the crevice tool, so as to
ensure a partial air flow.
5 .... USE OF THE PUMP
- In order to empty the container (drum) of amounts of liquid:
a) Release the exhaust pipe (s) and remove the plug (t).
b) Plug the pump.
c) Turn on the pump.
C - MAINTENANCE
Always remember to remove the plug from the electricity main before proceeding with
filtering system servicing, cleaning or replacing.
1.... DISPOSABLE COLLECTING BAG (OPTIONAL)
How to change the bag.
- Take the full bag out of the container (drum), taking care not to damage it.
2.... CARTRIDGE FILTER ELEMENT
- Remove the cartridge filter element.
- Clean the filter cartridge frequently using a soft bristle brush.
- To clean it more thoroughly, use a shower fitting and direct the jet of water from the inside
towards the outside of the filter.
WARNING: When the filter is wet, it becomes extremely delicate. Avoid using direct jets of
water or making manoeuvres that could damage it.
- Before refitting it, make sure it is perfectly dry.
- If the filter cartridge is heavily caked or worn, replace only the filter element (h).
3 ....CANISTER-TYPE PRE-FILTER MADE OF POLYESTER FELT
- In order to clean the pre-filter (p) thoroughly, wash it together with the canister (g) with a
shower fitting and direct the jet of water from the inside towards the outside of the filter.
- Before refitting it, make sure it is perfectly dry.
- Replace the filter if it is torn or worn.
4 ...FOAM FILTER (OPTIONAL)
- Rinse the foam filter under running water WITHOUT using detergents.
- Replace the foam filter if it is torn or worn.
5…”US-HEPA” EXHAUST POST-FILTER
- Periodically replace the ”US-HEPA” post-filter:
(a) Release the container (p).
(b) Remove the post-filter.
(c) Place the new post-filter with its seals (o) turned towards the outside of the container
(p).
(d) Fit the container (c) in place again as shown in figure.
