Electrical Warning
The coffee maker contains electrical components that are an
electrical shock hazard. Failure to follow these instructions may
result in electric shock.
To protect against electrical shock:
• To reduce the risk of fire, property damage, personal injury, and/or
electric shock, do not remove the bottom cover. No user-serviceable
parts inside. Repair should be done by authorised service personnel only.
• To disconnect, turn any control to the off position and remove plug from
power source. Always unplug when not in use, as well as before adding
or removing parts or accessories, and before cleaning. To unplug, grasp
the plug and pull from the outlet. Never pull from the power cord.
• DO regularly inspect the appliance and power cord.
• DO NOT operate the appliance if the power cord or plug is damaged,
or after the appliance malfunctions or is dropped or damaged in

• DO NOT attempt to repair, replace or modify components of the
appliance, as this may cause property damage, electric shock, fire or
personal injury, and will void the warranty.
• DO NOT tamper with any of the safety mechanisms, as this may
result in personal injury or property damage.
• DO NOT immerse power cord, plug or the appliance in water or
other liquid.
• DO NOT use the appliance in electrical systems other than
220–240V~, 50–60Hz.
• A longer detachable power-supply cord or extension cord may be
used with the following precautions:
-The marked electrical rating of the detachable power-supply cord
or extension cord should be at least as great as the electrical
rating of the appliance.
-The longer cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over
the countertop or tabletop where it can be pulled on by children
or tripped over.
