You can hold the camera to
capture images at any angle,
or place the camera in the
Camera Holder to use it as
a PC Camera or Document
Camera.
INS-3 requires the Documate applicaon or other
webinar soware to funcon.
Documate provides powerful learning-enhancing
features such as zoom, rotate, snapshot' annotaon,
video recording, paper document scans and text
extracon for eding through opcal character
recognion (OCR). Please download the latest version
of Documate for PC, Mac, or Chromebook at www.
inswan.com.
INS-3 is compable with most webinar soware
applicaons.

1. Connect the INS-3 USB cable to your PC or laptop via the USB slot.
2. Open Documate ( ) to display the camera view.
3. Use screen sharing in the webinar applicaon for high-engagement
remote teaching or web conferencing. (More detailed instrucons are
available at www.inswan.com.)
4. Connect your PC or laptop to a large screen/projector for in-class
teaching.

Using Documate

Start Documate on your PC or laptop and choose the desired operaon mode as follows :

Live mode (default) :
Shows the live image captured
by the INS-3 and provides various
funcons to enhance your
presentaon.
Recording video and image capture
Click ( ) to take snapshots or ( )
to record video clips for future use.
Drawing mode :
Use the whiteboard space and
markup tools to add text, create
drawings or markup exisng
images.
Playback mode :
Review and/or edit snapshot and
video clips taken by INS-3 or other
devices.
Scan mode :
Scan documents or images as
PDF, PNG, JPG or TIFF, or use OCR
(opcal character recognion) to
extract text for eding.

Hold the INS-3 to capture images at any angle, or place it on a desk to
capture images of objects and documents placed below it. Change the
height and /or posioning of the mul-joint camera bracket to capture
the desired image.
Forcing the arm against the hinge
direcon may break the arm.

Set the focus mode to AF-C (AutoFocus Connuous) to lm moving objects
or AF-S (AutoFocus Single) for stac objects.
Pressing the Auto Focus buon will automacally adjust to opmal focus
one me.
You can also trigger the autofocus funcon via the Documate applicaon.
Use the Brightness buon to increase or decrease brightness.
If your image appears upside-down, press and hold the AF buons for 2
seconds to ip the image orientaon. You can also ip or rotate the screen
image in the Documate applicaon.
