INSTRUCTIONS
Mounting:
The T110 torch can be mounted in 3 different ways to suit a particular dive mission / equipment layout:
1) The chain links can secure the torch’s battery canister to the back plate mounting holes (and become a
part of your weight system) and the cord can be routed through the BCD hose holder for a tidier routing
and to prevent snagging.
2) Through its belt loop, the battery canister can be tank mounted when used in conjunction with a tank
cam belt or a twin-tank band (and become a part of your weight system). The cord can be routed
through the BCD hose holder for a tidier routing.
3) The belt loop can also be used in conjunction with your BCD’s waist belt and any extra length of cord
can be gently tucked under your belt to prevent snagging.
Charging the battery:
1) Hold the battery canister with one hand while using the other hand to turn the aluminium battery housing
clockwise to remove it.
2) Plug the charger into a wall socket (110v ~ 240v) then connect its D.C. output pin into the female socket
in the torch’s battery assembly.
3) Recharging takes 6 hours* – DO NOT EXCEED THIS TIME LIMIT!
4) Check the sealing o-ring’s condition and grease accordingly. Replace the O-ring if it shows any sign of
deterioration.
5) Re-assemble the battery canister with the battery assembly.
* PLEASE NOTE: It is normal for the charger and / or the battery to become warm during the
charging process but it should not be too hot to touch; if this is the case, please disconnect
immediately and contact your IST distributor for further information.

Battery care:
1) YOUR NEW TORCH MAY NOT COME FULLY CHARGED! It is natural for the battery to slowly lose its
electrical charge over time. Please charge your battery before taking it for diving for the first time.*
* PLEASE NOTE: Also, a new battery’s best performance will only be achieved after a few
complete charge-discharge cycles
2) Always charge the battery to its full capacity as soon as possible after using. This will keep the battery in
good condition for as much as possible.
3) Do not continue using the torch when it is low on power (e.g. very dim output) or has no power left in the
battery as this will significantly shorten the battery’s useful life.
4) Do not allow the battery to sit in a discharged state as this can damage and shorten the battery’s useful
life. Always fully charge your torch before putting it into storage.
5) Conversely, do not over charge the battery as this will also shorten the battery’s useful life.
6) Use only the charger that comes with your torch – DO NOT USEANYALTERNATIVE or risking damage
your torch!
7) For long-term storage, always re-charge the battery at least once every 1 ~ 2 months to keep it in good
condition.
To turn on / turn off:
1) To turn the torch on, make sure the switch’s safety button is unlocked then turn the switch
counter-clockwise until the LED bulbs are lit.
2) To turn off, turn the switch clockwise until the LED bulbs are deactivated and turn the safety button on to
prevent accidentally turn-on.
Pre-dive check:
1) Make sure your torch’s power is full or charge the battery accordingly.
2) Make sure the torch’s exterior is completely dry and clean before opening the battery canister to inspect
and grease the O-ring. Clean or replace it if necessary.
3) Make sure the battery housing and the battery assembly are fully screwed and closed properly (no need
to over-tighten!).
4) Turn on the switch and inspect if the torch is working.
Post-dive maintenance:
1) Clean and dry the torch’s exterior thoroughly before opening up the battery canister for charging.
2) While battery is getting charged, check and grease the O-ring with suitable silicone lubricant. If it shows
any sign of wear / damage, please replace before your next dive to ensure its water-tightness.
3) Only store your torch in the temperatures of -20°C ~ 35°C (-4F° ~ 95F°)
