Preface
This manual is intended for use with the Janus Fire Systems® JFS-A1 Releasing Control Panel. Those who install,
operate, program, or service this panel should read this entire manual.
All design, implementation, and maintenance of the Janus Fire Systems® JFS-A1 Releasing Control Panel must
be performed in compliance with the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 70 - The National Electrical
Code, NFPA 2001 - Standard on Clean Agent Fire Extinguishing Systems, NFPA 12 - Standard on Carbon Dioxide
Extinguishing Systems, NFPA 13 - Standard for the Installation of Sprinkler Systems, NFPA 16 - Standard for the
Installation of Foam-Water Sprinkler and Foam-Water Spray Systems, NFPA 72 - The National Fire Alarm Code,
and the guidelines outlined in this manual.
