• TO PREVENT THE RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK, DO NOT REMOVE THE COVER (OR BACK). THERE ARE NO USER-SERVICEABLE PARTS INSIDE THIS UNIT.

PLEASE REFER SERVICING TO QUALIFIED JBL SERVICE PERSONNEL.

• Do not expose the speakers to liquid or solvent.

• Never remove grille covers in order to service the speaker system. The speaker system does not contain any user-serviceable parts. Refer all servicing to the JBL

Technical Support Group.

• Do not expose the speaker system to temperature or humidity extremes, direct sunlight, excessive dust or vibrations.

• Place the speaker system on a stable, level surface. Do not drop, apply excessive force to the controls or put heavy objects on top of the speaker.

• If cleaning is required, use a soft, dry cloth. If necessary, use a damp cloth without any solvents.

• In order to protect the speaker system, avoid microphone feedback, continuous output from electronic musical instruments or distorted output from any

signal source.

• Do not place the speakers close to uorescent light sources or neon light xtures.

• Although the speakers are magnetically shielded, keep magnetic storage media (disks and tapes) at least four inches from the speaker system in order to avoid

data loss.

• WARNING: To reduce the risk of re or electric shock, do not expose this speaker system to rain or moisture.

• Use only JBL-approved power supplies listed on the product label.

Step 2. Plug the left and right

satellites into position on the

rear of the subwoofer.

Step 3. Connect the audio input

cable to the rear of the sub-

woofer. Connect the audio cable

to the audio source.

Step 5. Plug the power adapter

into a wall outlet or power strip.

Step 6. Press the Power button

on the back of JBL Spot. A green

LED will light when the JBL Spot

system is on.

Step 8. Adjust bass level by turning

the Bass-Level knob on the rear of

the subwoofer.

Step 4. Connect the power adapter

plug into the position marked on

the rear of the subwoofer.

Step 7. Adjust the volume using

(+) to increase and (–) to decrease.

Press both to mute JBL Spot. Press

either button to unmute.

Check the connection of the wall adapter.

Place the wall adapter in a known powered outlet. Test

the outlet with a lamp or other device.

Connect JBL Spot to a known audio source. Test the

audio source with headphones.

Check the right satellite connection. Press it rmly into

the subwoofer.

Check the satellite connections. Press them rmly into

the subwoofer.

Adjust the Sub Level knob on the rear of the subwoofer

to the desired bass level.

• Stellen Sie das Lautsprechersystem auf eine stabile, gerade Oberäche. Lassen Sie die Lautsprecher nicht herunterfallen, gehen Sie vorsichtig mit den

Bedienelementen um, und stellen Sie keine schweren Gegenstände auf den Lautsprecher.

• Zur Reinigung des Systems, falls erforderlich, ein weiches, trockenes Tuch verwenden. Falls notwendig ein feuchtes Tuch ohne Lösungsmittel verwenden.

• Zum Schutz des Lautsprechersystems ist die Rückkopplung mit Mikrofonen, das ständige Spielen von elektronischen Musikinstrumenten oder der verzerrte

Output einer Signalquelle zu vermeiden.

• Stellen Sie die Lautsprecher nicht in die Nähe von uoreszierendem Licht oder Neonlicht.

• Obwohl die Lautsprecher magnetisch geschützt ist, sollten magnetische Speichermedien (Disketten oder Bänder) mindestens 15 Zentimeter von dem

Lautsprechersystem entfernt aufbewahrt werden, um so einen Datenverlust zu verhindern.
