1 Product Introduction
Jntech JNS series inverter is solar energy storage inverter, which is used for
solar energy storage system.
When sunshine is sufficient, the inverter supply power which is generated by
solar system to home load priority; when full sun light, less home load, inverter store
redundant energy in battery ,when less sun or peak home load, battery release
power to home load to reduce the pressure of state grid; when the state grid in fault,
inverter will offer 230v AC power to important home load, to realize the backup
battery when off grid; in addition, the inverter has the function that auto connect state
grid when over power generated.
Jntech JNS series inverter can be used in- door or outdoor.

2 Security statement and warning
For electrical and electronic equipment, safety involves the whole process of
installation, trial operation, operation and maintenance. Therefore, incorrect use or
misoperation will harm the operator or the third party's life and personal safety and
inverter equipment. In order to reduce casualties, and decrease the damage of

inverters and other equipment , during operation and maintenance, we must strictly
observe all the following safety information hints, such as danger, warning and
attention.
Before using the product, please read all the labels and warning signs on this
machine and this manual. Please put this manual in an easy place to find.
This inverter is strictly tested and designed in accordance with local laws and
regulations.
During installation, operation and maintenance of inverters, local laws and
regulations should be in conformity with local regulations.
The wrong operation may cause personal injury or damage to the inverter

Before installation and maintenance of inverters, the connection of DC input and
AC grid must be disconnected, and the inverter shall not be touched for at least
5 minutes after the disconnection.
The local temperature may be higher when the inverter is running. Please don't
touch it so as not to be burned.
Installation site should be avoided as far as possible children and take
appropriate anti-static measures.
When configuring PV array, we must ensure that the open circuit voltage of each
PV string does not exceed the maximum input voltage of the inverter, otherwise it will
cause the inverter to be unrecoverable.
To ensure that the DC input voltage is less than the maximum input voltage of
the inverter, otherwise it will damage the inverter, which Jntech won’t bear the
responsibility and quality assurance.
PV array directly generated by the sun will produce DC high-voltage, need to
operate according to our provisions, to avoid partial protection measures failure.
In the case of unauthorized, do not remove the lid; do not touch or replace any
components except terminals outside, otherwise it will cause harm to the human
body and the inverter, which Jntech will not undertake the responsibility and
quality assurance department.
When the inverter works, do not plug in or out connector from PV, battery AC
terminal.
Please do not arbitrarily use inverter for other purposes.
In order to ensure safe operation, it is required correct grounding, using proper
conductor size and providing necessary short circuit protection.
3 Mechanical installation instructions
3.1 Packing list
Before installation, please check whether the machine is in good condition and
check all the accessories to confirm the quantity is consistent with the packing list.

3.2 Machine appearance
3.3 Installation site requirements:
Please install the machine on the firm surface, and can support the weight of the
inverter for a long time.
Good ventilation on the installation location, and can support the weight of the
inverter for a long time
Inverters need to be installed vertically to prohibit horizontal installation.
Wiring area should be down and no lateral tilt, vertical installation surface and
vertical inclination angle is not more than 15 degrees

Installation location
Installation position height have to be same with the line of sight, so that it will be
easy to observe and operate LCD panel.
Do not install the inverters on a place where the children can touch them.

Installation of inverter should be far away from strong electromagnetic
interference equipment, and away from flammable and explosive materials
Inverter is recommended to install indoors. When the inverter is installed outside, it
should be installed under the eaves or other shadowy areas to avoid direct sunlight,
direct rain and snow.
After installation, make sure all warning signs and product labels are visible
3.3-2 In order to facilitate the installation, disassembly and operation of heat
dissipation, it is recommended that the minimum clearance size around the
inverter as shown in figure 3.3-2

3.4 Installation
Because the inverter is heavy, the handling process should be careful, should
be carried out under the assistance of the installation
(1)After selecting the proper installation position, the inverter should be placed
on the installation surface (such as the wall), and the installation hole should
be marked as the installation position. Accordingly, 4 holes are marked on the
wall surface, the aperture is 10mm, the depth is 80mm, and the figure 3.4-1 is
the installation hole position;
(2)take out 4 expansion screws in the attachment bag and fix them on the hole
of the wall;
(3) hang the inverter on the wall according to the mounting hole, tighten the nut, as
shown in figure 3.4-2

4 Electrical connection instructions
All electrical installations must conform to the local electrical installation
standards
All operation and wiring work is required by the professional staff
Incorrect wiring operation may result in injuries and deaths of staff or or
permanent damage to the equipment.
Please ensure that both the AC and DC side are not charged before the
electrical connection is carried out.
In order to ensure safe operation, the correct grounding, the use of the proper
conductor and the necessary short circuit protection are required.
Do not close any circuit breakers until all the equipment is not fully connected.
4.1 System electrical connection diagram

Note: the diagram shows that all over current protection devices are not included.
The battery is a lead-acid battery or a lithium battery
4.2 Battery connection
Please connect 1 DC breakers with rated current of 125A or over 125A between the
battery and inverter. If not connected, the arc may occur when wiring.
Please pay special attention to the battery's +, - pole, the inverter would be
damaged if reverse connection.
Pay attention to chemical pollution and electric shock risk.
Because there is large current when system operating with battery, it is
recommended to use the cables as following specifications for safety purposes.
Suggest to connect the battery positive electrode with red cable, negative
electrode with black.
For battery installation and placement, refer to the battery manufacturer's
instructions.
The specific steps of battery connection are as follows:

(1)Confirm that the battery meets the inverter specifications ensure that the DC
circuit breaker is disconnected.
(2)Unscrew the battery nut, put the cable passes through the nut hole, a sealed
ring, an insulating ring, end out from the nut.
(3)Insert the wire into the battery terminal and press it with the tool.
(4)Remove the combined screw, flat and nut inside the fittings, connect the terminal
to the corresponding position in the inverter, and tighten it with the wrench.
(5)Lock the battery nut by pan head screw inside accessories package, and
then tighten the nut, as shown in figure 4.2-1

4.3 PV connection
Verify that the DC switch is in shutdown state before PV array connection.
Note that the polarity of the array must match the polarity of the connector,
otherwise it will damage the inverter.
Note that the maximum open circuit voltage of the array must be less than the
maximum input voltage of the inverter.
PV array’s plus & minus poles are forbidden to ground (PE), otherwise it will
cause damage to the inverter.
Be sure to use the MC4 adapter.
The specific steps of the PV connection are shown in figure 4.3-1 below
