FACTORY FIELD UPGRADE

This document describes how to upgrade CK721-A controllers in the field to

Version 3.3. This is the only supported method for upgrading CK721-A

controllers when a P2000 host update fails and the controller constantly reboots

or fails to come back online with the host.

For standard CK721-A controller firmware upgrade procedures, refer to the

CK721-A Software Release Notes. The upgrade method described in this

document does not require the host.

NOTE: Procedures described in this document use the Tera Term Pro terminal

emulation software version 2.3. Use of other terminal emulation programs may

require different steps.
