Battery Installation
■The Judge Digital Scale takes
2 x 1.5V AAA batteries.
■Remove the battery cover as shown
and install batteries according to the
polarity markings.
■Please remove the batteries before
long term storage.

Before use
1. Wash bowl in warm soapy water,
dry thoroughly and return to scale.
2. Install batteries as detailed.
3. Place on a solid, flat surface.
Everyday Weighing

1. Short Press the button
to turn the scale on.
2. Wait until the LCD
display shows “0”.
3. Place the object to be
weighed into the bowl.
4. The weight will be shown
on the LCD display.

Metric and Imperial Measurement Selection
Long press the button change between Metric (g/ml) and
Imperial measurements (lb:oz/fl‘oz)

Short press the button to change between Weight, Milk
Volume and Water Volume modes.
Water/Milk Volume mode
1. Short Press the button to
turn the scale on.
2. Wait until the LCD display
shows “0”.
3. Short Press the button
to select water measurement
(or Short Press again for milk
measurment).
4. Add water to the bowl.
5. The volume will be shown on
the LCD display.
6. Convert from liquid to weight
measurement by
Short Pressing the button.

Zero Function
To zero the scale and weigh another
item (without removing the
previous item) Short Press the
button.
Note: The Zero Weight symbol will only
appear if the total load is less than 200g.
Tare mode is activated above 200g, see
overleaf.
Add Weigh/Tare Mode Function
Note: Tare Mode can only be used if the total initial load
is greater than 200g.
Tare mode allows you to weigh
consecutive items without
removing the previous item
from the scale.
1. Place Item A into the bowl.
Weight of Item A is displayed.
2. Short Press the button
to activare Tare Mode and
reset the LCD to ‘0’
3. Place Item B in the bowl.
Weight of Item B is displayed.
4. Short Press the button
again. Total weight of both
Item A and Item B is displayed.
5. Short Press the
button again to continue
adding items.

Manual Shut Off
Long press the button.
Auto Shut Off (Power Saving Mode)
Auto shut off occurs is the display shows ‘0’ or the same weight reading
for more than a couple of minutes.
Error Codes
Err Overload
warning
Scale is loaded past the maximum
capacity (5kg) - Remove items to avoid
damaging the scale.
Lo Low battery
warning
Battery power is low, please replace the
batteries.
Cleaning and care
■Clean the scale with a damp cloth or taint free wipe.
■Do not immerse the scale in water.
■Do not use harsh chemical/abrasive cleaning agents.
■Immediately clean plastic parts after contact with fats, spices,
vinegar and strongly flavoured/coloured foods.
■Avoid contact with acidic citrus juice.
■Do not knock, drop or drop any item onto the scale.
■Store in a cool dry place when not in use.
■For domestic use only.
■The Judge 2 Year
