1 Area of use
The JUNG Smart Control IP can be integrated into networks and
allows the display and operation of the JUNG door communication
systems, the connection to building automation functions via Facility
Pilot Servers and the display of current weather data and the local
weather forecasts.
Operation takes place via a touchscreen with an intuitive screen
surface.
Thanks to the network connection, configuration takes place simply
and intuitively on the computer or laptop. All the settings are made
easily and the individual systems are networked together.

Here, the buttons represent the screen pages, which can be opened
on the Smart Control IP via the function page or the "Scroll" button.

1.1 Smart Control IP
The Smart Control IP makes up to seven different main screen pages
available:
Function page: In the basic setting, this page serves as the
starting page. From here, the buttons can be used to switch
directly to the other pages. After a settable time, the system
jumps back to the starting page automatically.
Building technology 1: This page starts an instance of the
integrated web browser. This page can be used, for example, to
display an HTML page of the FAP server, in order to visualise and
control statuses of a KNX installation.
Building technology 2: This page starts a further instance of the
integrated web browser. Additional building technology functions
can be visualised and controlled using this page.
Weather page: This page starts an instance of the integrated web
browser, using which, for example, the current weather situation
and the forecast for the coming days can be displayed.
Door communication: Together with a JUNG door communication
system, this page allows transmission of images and sounds with
up to eight door intercoms. In addition, images of the door
cameras can be stored automatically or manually in an image
memory.
Timer: This page is used to set the times and the values to be
sent for up to eight channels. The commands of the timer are sent
via UDP and evaluated, for example, by the Facility Pilot Server,
in order to execute building technology functions.
Settings: This page allows local access to the integrated web
server, in order to adjust network connection and door
communication functions.
Screen cleaning: This page locks the evaluation of the touch-
sensitive screen and the three buttons for 30 seconds, in order to
avoid incorrect operations whilst the device surface is being
cleaned.
It is possible to switch between the five first pages using the "Scroll"
button. The Timer, Settings and Screen cleaning pages are opened
directly from the function page.
The "Master button" does not open a particular screen page, but
sends specified commands via UDP. These commands are
evaluated, for example, by the Facility Pilot Server, in order to
execute building technology functions.
1.2 Commissioning PC / Web Browser
The major part of the configuration of the Smart Control IP takes
place using a PC, which accesses the configuration server integrated
into the Smart Control IP via a web browser (for example Firefox or
Safari).

For configuration, it may be necessary to adapt the network settings
of the Smart Control IP locally.
1.3 Facility Pilot Server / eNet-Box
To allow the Smart Control IP to access an external server via the
pages "Building technology 1" or "Building technology 2", the URL for
this server must be entered in the configuration of the Smart Control
IP. Optionally, a username and a password can also be saved.
1.4 DCM connection
To connect the Smart Control IP to a JUNG door communication
system, the image and sound information of the JUNG DCM Bus
must be converted to IP.
The Video Streamer uses the image information from the door
stations to generate a MJPEG data stream, which can then be
displayed by the Smart Control IP.
The SIP Gateway or the SIP Server sets up the speech connection
between the door intercom and the Smart Control IP.
The DCM devices are each configured via their own web servers.
Ensure that matching addresses are used.

2 Commissioning
The major part of the commissioning process takes place via the web
interface of the configuration server in the Smart Control IP. To allow
the commissioning PC to access the configuration server of the
Smart Control IP, the network settings of the two devices must be
matched.
2.1 Default settings
The Smart Control IP has the following default settings:

(for local access)

(for access via the browser)
2.2 Local configuration
To adjust the configuration locally, open the Settings page using the
"Settings" button.

The local device password must then be entered.

If you do not know the device password, then you can contact JUNG
Customer Services to obtain a single-validity password using the
displayed TAN.
To adjust the network settings locally, open the "Network" page using
the "Network" button.

If the "Network settings" button is selected on this page, it is possible
to switch between "Manual" and "DHCP" using the shift key.

In the manual network setting, the IP address, the gateway address,
the subnet mask and the DNS server can be adjusted.

Pressing the appropriate button for a longer time displays the on-
screen keyboard to input the address.

2.3 Configuration via the web interface
The major part of the configuration of the Smart Control IP takes
place with a web browser via access to the integrated configuration
web server.
2.3.1 Login If the network address of the Smart Control IP was not changed
locally, the configuration web server is opened via the IP address
192.168.0.10. The login page is shown first. The standard password
is 12345. If you do not know the password, then you can contact
JUNG Customer Services to obtain a single-validity password using
the displayed TAN.

2.3.2 Structure of the web interface
The web interface of the configuration server is made up of three
areas.

In the upper area beneath the JUNG logo, there are always three
commands:
Logout: The current session can be terminated using this
command.
Language selection: Here, you can toggle the language of the
web interface.
Show Help: If this option is highlighted, then additional information
is displayed for the currently highlighted input box.
In the left-hand area, it is possible to select the section whose
parameters are to be set. Other sections are then displayed under
the heading.
In the right-hand area, the settings of the current section can then be
adjusted. The "Cancel" button rejects the changes and the current
values of the device are displayed again. The "Save" button writes
the current values to the device. If you switched to another section,
without having pressed the "Save" button, the changes are also
rejected.
