Ourproductsrepresentover40yearsexperienceinthemanufacturingofaquariums
andtheiraccessoriesapplyingthemostmodernproductiontechniquesinbringing
togethertheJUWELAquariumsystem,whichisbotheasytouseandsimpleto
maintain.
Safetyinstructions:
Thisappliancecanbeusedbychildrenagedfrom8yearsandaboveandpersons
withreducedphysical,sensoryormentalcapabilitiesorlackofexperienceand
knowledgeiftheyhavebeengivensupervisionorinstructionconcerninguseof
theapplianceinasafewayandunderstandthehazardsinvolved.Childrenshall
notplaywiththeappliance.Cleaningandusermaintenanceshallnotbemadeby
childrenwithoutsupervision.
Alwaysunplugallimmersedelectricalequipmentfrommainsbeforeplacingyour
handsintothewater.
OperationwiththeRCcircuitbreakeronly,max.30mA.
Thepowerplugsoftheelectricaldevicesmustnotbecomemoist.Connectthe
powerplugstothepowersupplyatsuchaheightthattheconnectioncable
formsaloopwhichwouldenablethewatertodripdown.
Safetyinstructions:
Neveroperatethepowerheadoutofwater.
Alwaysunplugthepowerheadfromthepowersupplybeforeremovingitfromthe
filter.
Thepowerheadisintendedforindooruseandforuseinfluidsupto35°C.
Neverrepairtheelectricalcordorplug.Incaseofdamagereplacethecomplete
powerhead.
Recommendation:
Inordertoensurethatthepowerheadoperatesatitsoptimumandmaintainsits
lownoiselevel,werecommendtocheckandpotentiallyreplacethepartssubject
towearandtear,suchastheimpellerandtheadapter.

ThenewpumpJUWELEccoflowdistinguishesitselfwithoperatingquietnessanda
highflowrate.Thenewdesignandtheimprovedtechnologymaketheuseandthe
maintenanceeveneasier.Utilisingtheenclosedadapters,thepumpJUWELEccoflowis
suitableasreplacementforthepumpsJUWELBioflowandalsotheJUWELpumptypes
300/500/600/1000/1500.

Pleaseensurethattheimpellerhasbeenproperlyinsertedandthepumpadapterhas
beenfirmlyconnectedtothemotorpriortotheinstallationofthenewpump.
Pleaseproceedasfollows:
1.Disconnectallelectricaldevicesoftheaquariumfromthepowergrid.
2.Removetheoutletnozzlesandremovetheoldpumpfromthefilter.
3.Insertthenewpumpintotheseparationwallofthefilterandfirmlypushitinto
place.
4.Connecttheoutletnozzletodirectthewaterflowasdesiredfromtheoutsidetothe
outletopeningofthepump.Reinstallthegasketintotheroundopeningofthefilter
housingwhenconnectingtheoutlet.Thisdecreasesvibrationtransmissions.
Nowthepumpisreadyforoperationandyoumayreconnecttheelectricaldevicesto
thepowergrid.
MaintenanceofthepumpJUWELEccoflowinthefiltersystem

ThepumpJUWELEccoflowshouldbecheckedwithregardtofunctionalityandcleaned
atregularintervals(atleastonceamonth).
Pleaseproceedasfollowstothatend:
1.Disconnectallelectricaldevicesoftheaquariumfromthepowergrid.
2.Removetheoutletnozzles.
3.Removethepumpfromtheseparationwallofthefilter.
4.Disconnecttheadapter(A)fromthemotorbyturningitcounter-clockwiseand
removetheimpeller.
5.Thoroughlycleanallcomponents.Itisparticularlynecessarytoremovetheimpeller
fromthechamberandremovedepositsanddirtfromthechamberitselfaswellasthe
impeller.Thefunctionofthepumpwillbeimpairedotherwise.Alsochecktheimpeller
fordamageandpossiblesignsofwearofthemagnet.
Afterthat,pleasereinstallthepumpinreverseorderinthefilter.

InstallationofthepumpJUWELEccoflowinthefiltersystem

Pleaseproceedasfollowsinordertoinstallthenewpump:
1.Disconnectallelectricaldevicesoftheaquariumfromthepowergrid.
2.Removetheadapter(A)fromthemotorandreplaceitwiththeconnectionring(B)
asshownonthepictureatthenewpumpJUWELEccoflow.
3.Removetheoutletnozzlesandremovetheoldpumpandthepumpadapterfromthe
filter.
4.Nowarrangethepumponthepumpadapter(C)andturnitallthewaytotheright.
5.Firmlyplacethenewpumpontheseparationwall;theoutletofthepumpmust
pointattheroundopeninginthefilterhousing.
6.Connecttheoutletnozzletodirectthewaterflowasdesiredfromtheoutsidetothe
outletopeningofthepump.Reinstallthegasketintotheroundopeningofthefilter
housingwhenconnectingtheoutlet.Thisdecreasesvibrationtransmissions.
Nowthepumpisreadyforoperationandyoumayreconnecttheelectricaldevicesto
thepowergrid.

ThepumpJUWELEccoflowshouldbecheckedwithregardtofunctionalityandcleaned

mustnotbedisposedof,attheendofitsservicelife,togetherwithhousehold
rubbish.Pleasedisposeofthisequipmentseparatelyfromotherwaste,toprotect
theenvironmentorpublichealthfromdamagebyunregulatedwastedisposal.
Recycletheequipmentandsupportthesustainedrecyclingofmaterialresources.
Privateusersshouldcontactthedealerwhosoldthemtheproductorthe
responsibleauthorities,forademonstrationonhowtorecycletheequipmentin
anenvironmentallyfriendlyway.
Guarantee
WeguaranteetheperformanceoftheJUWEL-Aquariumproductoritsaccessoriestothe
purchaserforaperiodof24monthsfromthedateofpurchaseaccordingtothe
followingconditions:
§1Extentoftheguarantee
(1)ThisguaranteeextendstotheJUWEL-Aquariumproductanditscomponents
excludingitemssubjecttowearandtearsuchaslighttubesandfiltermedia.Itis
limitedtotheproductassuchanddoesnotcoverdamagetootherpropertyand/or
individuals.Inaddition,theprovisionsoftheproductliabilitylawapply.These
provisionsarenotlimitedbytheaforementionedarrangement.
(2)ItistheprerogativeofJUWEL-Aquariumtodecidewhethertheguaranteeis
performedbymeansofrepairorreplacement.Ifneitherrepairnorreplacementcan
ensuretheperformanceoftheJUWEL-Aquariumproductthepurchaserisentitledto
demandareductioninpriceortoreturntheproductagainstrepaymentofthe
purchaseprice.
§2Guaranteeperiodandsettlementprocedure
(1)Theguaranteeperiodbeginsonthedayofthepurchaseoftheproductfromthe
retailer.Claimsunderthisguaranteewillnotbehonoured,if
(a)thedamageiscausedasaresultofimproperuseormaintenanceornon-
observanceoftheinstructionsgiveninthismanual
(b)theproductoritscomponentshavebeenmaintainedbypersonsorcompaniesnot
authorisedbythemanufacturertodoso
(c)theproductoritscomponentshavebeendamagedbymechanicalmeansof
whatsoeverkind,inparticularbrokenglass
(2)Allclaimsunderthisguaranteehavetobenotifiedtotheretailer,fromwhomthe
aquariumhasbeenpurchasedwithoutdelay,however,notlongerthan2weeksfrom
thedayoffirstoccurrenceofdefects.Rightsundertheconsumerprotectionlawswill
remainunaffected.
(3)Guaranteeclaimswillonlybeacceptedifthevalidityoftheclaimissupportedby
evidenceofpurchaseoftheJUWEL-Aquariumproduct.
