This service manual does not describe SPECIFIC SERVICE INSTRUCTIONS.

!Burrs formed during molding may be left over on some parts of the chassis. Therefore,

pay attention to such burrs in the case of preforming repair of this system.

SECTION 3

DISASSEMBLY

3.1 Main body

3.1.1 Removing the main board (See Fig.1 to 3)

(1) From the bottom of the body, remove the six screws Aat-

taching the cover.

(2) Disconnect the wire from connector CN2 on the main

board.

(3) Remove the five screws B, the two screws Dattaching the

main board.

(4) From the front side of the body, remove the six screws E

and the four screws Fattaching the cover.

3.1.2 Removing the cross over A board, the bass boost A

board and the LED A board (See Fig. 4 to 7)

• Prior to performing the following procedure, remove the main

board.

(1) From the bottom of the main board, remove the two screws

Gattaching the bracket.

(2) Remove the screw Hand disconnect the wire.

(3) Disconnect the wire from CN504,CN505 and CN591 on the

main board. Remove the cross over A

board and the bass boost A board with the bracket.

(4) Remove the screw J, the washer and the nut from the

cross over A board.

(5) Remove the washer and nut from the bass boost A board.

(6) Remove the screw Kattaching the LED A board.

Attention:

You can remove the LED A board only from the main board.

3.1.3 Removing the LED B board and the LED C board (See

Fig.8, 9)

• Prior to performing the following procedure, remove the main

board.

(1) Remove the two screws Mattaching the LED B board and

the LED C board.

(2) Remove the two screws Nattaching the LED B board and

the LED C board.

SECTION 4

ADJUSTMENT

4.1 IDOLING CURRENT ADJUSTMENT

Instrument requited

DC power

Multimeter

Connection

Connect the DC power to the body (+B, remote and GND). After three minutes or more, start measurement

(wait until the voltage is stabilized).

Remote GND +B

GND DC power +B

Short-circuit the remote terminal and +B terminal

and connect to the power supply.

Use the thick cord for connection.

Measurement and adjustment

L ch; measure the voltage at six point TP105 ~ TP110 and adjust the point highest in voltage to 2.0 mV (VR101).

Measure the voltage at the six points again and confirm it meets the specification.

R ch; measure the voltage at six point TP205 ~ TP210 and adjust the point highest in voltage to 2.0 mV (VR201).

Measure the voltage at the six points again and confirm it meets the specification.

Specification for verification after adjustment

Adjust the point highest in voltage to

2.0 [mV] (VR101 or VR201).

After adjustment, measure the voltage

to meet the specification(0.2 ~ 2.5 [mV]).

TROUBLESHOOTING

5.1 Troubleshooting guide

There are five ranks A, B, C, D and E of POWER FET

(Q111, Q112, Q113, Q114, Q115, Q116, Q211, Q212, Q213, Q214, Q215 and Q216).

There are following four groups of IC. If you replace any IC, do other two ICs in the group

at a time to be equal in rank.

Q111, Q113, Q115 (MLE20)

Q112, Q114, Q116 (MJD20)

Q211, Q213, Q215 (MLE20)

Q212, Q214, Q216 (MJD20)

The rank is stamped here (A, B, C, D and E).
