■Operation
After installation is complete, turn on the power of the Cascom-S. Wait for 10 minutes until cooling water
circulates completely. After cooling water circulates completely, water level of the optional chiller will lower.
Pour water in accordance with the instruction manual of the Cascom-S.
The installation is finished. The machine is ready to cast.
■Deterioration of the cooling function
When the water overheating error is displayed, the cooling function may be deteriorating.
Make sure the following.
・Keep the machine away from other equipment.
・Remove the filter as indicated below and clean the dust with an air gun.
Note) If an air gun is used without removing the filter, the dust filled in the machine may cause malfunction.
・The cooling fans work with fans of the optional chiller. When the cooling fans do not work, contact our support
team for repair.

We recommend you to follow these instruments for proper use of the unit.
The safety precautions contained herein and the accompanying icons are provided for the safe use of
this machine and to prevent injuries and loss on material resources. Please read them carefully prior to
your actual machine operation. It is recommended that use of this unit should not be attempted by anyone
who is not well informed of the precautions necessary for machine operation.
Failure to follow or ignorance of the directions may
cause severe injury or death.

In the event when there is smoke, abnormal odors or sounds, unplug
immediately and contact the dealer for repairs.

Check the machine for signs of parts damage prior to use and make
sure the unit is in normal state. Contact the dealer for advice if you
find anything abnormal.
Plug the main power cord completely into the power outlet. The plug
may heat up and cause fire or burns if not entirely plugged in.
In addition, if the metal part of plug is touched while the plug is not
fully plugged in, electric shock may result.
In case of periodic machine maintenance, unplug the power cord
from the power outlet. Do not handle the plug with wet hands.
This may cause electric shock.
Do not place the machine on an unstable base to prevent falling or
damage to the unit. This may cause injury.
Keep the unit away from walls and other equipment.
・Leave minimum of 20cm of space around the unit.
When you unplug the power cord from the power outlet, do not pull
the cord. If the cord is damaged, it may cause fire or shock.
Always remove by handling the plug.
Do not place heavy items or place machine on the power cord and
make sure that the cord is not pulled too tightly and not damaged.
This may cause fire or electric shock.
This machine is for Cascom-S. We do not recommend you to use
the machine for any other purposes.
■Installation
When you unpack the machine, make sure that the white tube (1.7m) is included.
Review and follow the instructions below.
①Turn on the power of the Cascom-S.
②Pull out the WATER B piping tube of the Cascom-S.
③To prevent water leaking, put the machine in a higher place than the optional chiller.
Connect the pulled-out WATER B piping tube to the machine.
Note) Water will flow when the tube is lower than the chiller's water surface.
④Set up the machine on a flat stable table and connect the provided white tube to another outlet.
⑤Connect to the WATER B.
⑥Connect the power cord of the machine to OPT. CHILLER OUTLET of the optional chiller.
Note) Connect the white piping tube completely until the red line. Improper piping may cause water leaking.
Note) The drawing does not include other piping tubes.
