General Information
A. Cut fence wire with the hardened cutter. Not for use on
bolts, nails or for holding and prying.
B. Strip underground or coated fence wire with this special
slot. Bite, spin, and pull of unwanted plastic coating.
C. Crimp 16 to 12.5 gauge fence wire. Overlap wire by at
least 1”. Imbricate compressions on sleeves.
D. Crimp 11 to 9 gauge wire, or 15.5 to 12.5 gauge barbed
wire. Overlap wire by at least 1.5”. Imbricate compressions
on sleeves. Use this slot for electric/open tap sleeves.
E. Adjustment screw rotate to tighten or loosen jaw
setting.
F. Locking screw loosen before rotating adjustment
screw, reset after proper tension is set.

With tool open, hold one handle while placing the
other handle on a scale. Monitor the downward pres-
sure required to close handles. Properly adjusted tool
will require 10-15lbs of pressure.
If adjustment is required twist locking screw counter-
clockwise to loosen. Rotate adjustment screw clockwise
to increase, counterclockwise to decrease pressure.
Aer correct pressure is established, tighten locking
screw. Use 4mm hex key. All tools are inspected and
properly adjusted prior to shipment.

materials and workmanship. Regularly oil all
pins and joints. Always wear eye protection.
