control

restores

the

operation

Note:

click

rotation

shifts

the

However,

the

POWER/VOL

Power

ON-OFF

switch

volume

control

are

combined.

Turning

the

control

fully

counterclockwise

will

turn

the

power

OFF.

Clockwise

rotation

will

creases

the

volume.

SQUELCH

The

squelch

control

used

eliminate

noise

during

no-signal

time.

Normally,

this

control

adjusted

clockwise

until

the

noise

disappears.

For

scan

opera-

tion,

this

control

must

set

the

threshold

point.
