Label printer
The printer YKE-01 is an ASCII-compatible label printer, which can be used with all
KERN balances.

If one the articles listed above is missing please contact your supplier immediately.
3. Set Up and commissioning
On the installation site observe the following:
Dust and humidity free
Do not place printer next to powerful sources of heat
Do not place the device within range of strong electric, magnetic, electromagnetic
impulse fields and surfaces that collect electrostatic charge.
Do not expose printer to direct sunlight, impacts or vibration.
Power is supplied via the external mains adapter.
The stated voltage value must be the same as the local voltage.
Only use original KERN mains adapters.
Using other makes requires consent by KERN.

5. Preparing your printer for operation
Connecting the cable:
Always use KERN accessories and weighing balances when working with your
printer. Disconnect the printer from the mains voltage before connecting the cable
to the printer.

6. Operating elements
After the connection of the mains adapter to the printer and to the power supply, as well
as after the on/off switch of the printer having been switched over into "1" position, the
green (right) display of the power supply will light up.
This indicator also signals that the printer is ready for operation.
LEDs:

7. The menu
If no buttons are operated after approx. 7 seconds, the printer exits the menu
automatically and you have to restart from the beginning.
Menu overview
To print out the menu overview, press shortly, after approx. 1 second press , the
menu with the currently set data will be printed out.
