Instructions for the use of KC868-COL
KC868-COL acquisition board is mainly used to Read AI, DI, Temperature, Electric quantity. The
equipment supports 5 channel of 18b20 temperature detection, 16 channel of Digital input signal
detection, 16 channel of Analog input signal detection and RS485 communication smart meter.

1、Configure IP address
KC868-COL works in LAN mode. The default parameter is shown in the following figure（Pic 1-1）:

IP Mode: DHCP (Can be set to Static)
Port: 4196
Work Mode: TCP server
Baud Rate: 115200
2、Instructions for the use of PC software
Open the demo PC software ,input the IP address and port of KC868-COL (Pic 1-1), and click
“Connect”. Pic 2-1:

1、16 Channel Analog Input Unit: V
KC868-COL support 0-5V voltage Analog sensors.
“Read”: Read selected input channel’s data.
“Read ALL”: Read 16 Channels Analog Input channel’s data.
"Auto Read ON":Enable automatically read data according to the time interval.
"Auto Read OFF": Disable automatically read data.
Range Config:
Min and Max is the range of the
equipment.
For example: NO.2 The detection
distance of the water level sensor is 0-100M.
When the voltage is 3.3v, the water level is
100/5*3.3=66M.
2、16 Channel Digital Input
KC868-COLsupport DI signal, it can read the signal status and display in Red/Green color.
“Read”: Read selected DI channel’s data.
“Read ALL”: Read 16 Channels DI channel’s data.
"Auto Read ON":Enable automatically read data according to the time interval.

"Auto Read OFF": Disable automatically read data.
3、5 Channels Temperature Sensor Unit:℃
KC868-COL support DS18B20 temperature sensor, the temperature value can be displayed in the
window , from -55℃--125℃.
“Read”: Read selected temperature channel’s data.
“Read ALL”: Read 5 Channels temperature.
"Auto Read ON":Enable automatically read data according to the time interval.
"Auto Read OFF": Disable automatically read data.
4、8 Channels Power Meter Unit: KWh
KC868-COL support KinCony’s RS485 power meter. It can read power consumption through RS485
interface. The numbers of power meters needs to be set before use .
“Read”: Read selected power meter’s data.
“Read ALL”: Read all online power meter’s data.
"Auto Read ON":Enable automatically read data according to the time interval.
"Auto Read OFF": Disable automatically read data.
3、RS232 Communication Protocol of Relay Control
KC868-COL has two serial ports, one can send relay control commands to KC868-Hx controller.
Another RS232 serial port connect to computer. The communication protocol is as follows:
