• Thisxturecannotbeusedwithadimmerswitch,motionoroccupancysensor,
andotherelectronicswitchingdevicesunlessotherwisedesignated.
LEDxturesmustbepowereddirectlyoffaswitchcircuit.
• Thisxtureshouldnotbeusedinareaswithlimitedventilationorhigh
ambienttemperatures.
• Thisxtureisintendedtobeconnectedtoaproperlyinstalledandgrounded
NECcompliantoutletbox.
• The warnings, precautions, and instructions discussed in this manual cannot

WARNING: RISK OF ELECTRICAL SHOCK
• Turn OFF the main power at the fuse or circuit breaker before installing the light
xtureormakinganyelectricalconnection.
• Thisxtureisdesignedforuseina120VAC,60Hzfusecircuit.
• Makesurethislightxtureisadequatelygrounded.Toensurepropergrounding,
there must be a separate ground wire (bare copper) contact between this
lightxtureandthegroundconnectionofyourmainpowersupplypanel.
Donotconnectthebareorgreeninsulationxturegroundwiretotheblack
(hot)current-carryingwireorthewhite(neutral)wire.Connectionofthebareor
greenxturegroundwiretotheblackorwhitewiresmaycausemetalparts
ofthexturetocarryelectricalcurrents,andmaycauseelectricalshock,which
couldcauseseriousinjuryordeath.
• Donotconnectthisxturetoanelectricalsystemthatdoesnotprovidea
meansforequipmentgrounding.Neveruseaxtureinatwo-wiresystemthat
isnotgrounded.Installingaxtureintoanelectricalsystemnothavingaproper
groundingcouldcausemetalpartsofthexturetocarryelectricalcurrents
ifanyofthexturewires,wireconnections,orsplicesweretobecomebroken,
cut,orlooseduringthemountingornormaloperationofthexture.Underthis

• LEDproductsarePolaritySensitive.Ensureproperpolaritybeforeinstallation.
ElectrostaticDischarge(ESD)cancausedamagetoLEDxtures.Personal
grounding equipment must be worn during all installation or servicing of
theunit.
• DonottamperwithorattempttorepairtheLEDcomponentorxture.The
lightsourceisdesignedforthisspecicapplicationandshouldnotbe
servicedbyuntrainedpersonnel.Contactthecustomerservicedepartmentif
anyservicingisrequired.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURES:
Before beginning assembly of the product, make
sureallpartsarepresent.Comparepartswith
packagecontentslist.Ifanypartismissingor
damaged,donotattempttoassembletheproduct.

Note:Itisrecommendedthataqualiedlicensed
electricianperformallwiringconnections.Theelectricalsystemandthemethod
ofelectricallyconnectingthisxturetoitmustbeinaccordancewiththeNational
ElectricalCodeandlocalbuildingcodes.
• Installthemotionsensorbetween6.2ft/1.9mand9.8ft/3mabovethe
ground.Motionsensorislesssensitiveabove9.8ft/3m.
• Mountsensorawayfromheatproducingsourcestopreventfalsetriggering.
Be very careful not to include objects such as windows, white walls and
waterinthedetectionzone.

MOUNTING LOCATIONS
• Determine the mount location, such as a
wall or eave
• The motion sensor needs to face the
ground and the light should have

• If needed, lift the motion sensor up and
down so the control faces the ground

UsingthetwoMountingScrewsorttheoutletbox.Ensurethe‘FRONT’
markingisatthefrontafterinstallation.
WARNING:Riskofelectricshock.Disconnectpoweratfuseorcircuitbreaker
beforeinstallingorservicing.
CAUTION:Donotcutanywireswithfactoryinstalledwireconnectorsorremove
thewireconnectors.
• TaketheoutletboxwiresthroughtheholeintheMountingPlate.
• PlacetheMountingPlateagainsttheoutletbox.
• Whenmountingtoawall,the“UP”arrowmustpointupward.
• Whenmountingtoaneave,the“UP”arrowmustpointtowardthebuilding.
• Insert the Mounting Bolt through the mounting plate hole in the middle, and
MountingBrackethole.TightentheMountingBoltsecurely.
• Firmly pull on the Mounting Plate to verify it is securely attached to the
MountingBracket.

1.Environmentaltemperatureaffectsthesensorrange.Itisrecommendednot
tomountthexturenearaheatsourcelikeanairconditioner,ventorfurnace
exhaust,orinadirectionfacingalightreectingobject.
2.Thesensorwillbemoresensitivetomotionacrossitsdetectionpaththan
motioncomingdirectlytowardsit.
3.Forbestperformance,gentlycleanthelenswithasoftclotheverytwomonths
toassuremaximumsensitivity.

• Inserttheoutletboxwiresintothesideof
theterminalblock.
• Insertthewhitewirefromtheoutletbox
intotheterminalmarked“N(White)”.
• Inserttheblackwirefromtheoutletbox
intotheterminalmarked“L(Black)”.
• Insert the green ground wire from the
outletboxintotheterminalmarked“GND”.
• AlignthebottomedgeoftheSecurityFloodlightwiththebottomedgeofthe
MountingPlate.TilttheSecurityFloodlighttowardtheMountingPlate,
makingsuretheSecurityFloodlightiscenteredontheMountingPlate.
• Tighten the Large Mounting Bolt securely through the center of the
MountingPlate.Donotovertighten.
• PushtheDecorativeKnobrmlyintothemountingboltholeonthelight
SecurityFloodlight.
• Applycaulkingaroundthecanopyand
mounting surface with silicone sealant
(notincluded).
Note:Ifyouinstallthislightxtureon
the covered wall or eave without a outlet
box,youmustusetheappropriate
screws (not included) to install this
lightxtureonthecoveredwallor
eave directly depending on the surface
(replacesor).

Time Setting
ThissettingisusedtocontrolthetimespanofhowthelongSecurityFloodlight
remainsonwhenmotionisdetected.
• Setthe“TIME”switchtothe1,3or7minuteposition.
• TheSecurityFloodlightwillstayonaslongasmotionisdetectedandwillgooff
afterthetimespanyousetwhennomotionisdetected.
Brightness Setting
Thissettingissetthebrightnessoflight.
• Whenslidingthe“Bright”switchtowardtheposition,thelightwillgetahigh
