Safety instructions
1. Readandstrictlyfollowthisinstallationandoperatinginstructionstoensurea
longlifeandreliablecylinderoperation.
2. Themanufacturerofthiscylinderwillnotbeliableforanydamagesduetothe
failuretofollowtheinstallationandoperationinstructions.
3. Thecylindermustnotbeinstalledinroomswherethetemperaturemaydrop
below0°C.
4. The cylinder’s installation and the initial start-up, as well as all electrical and
hydraulicworkmustbeperformedbyaqualiedprofessionalinstaller.
5. The cylinder is designed for standing vertical installation- screw on feet or
wall-hung installation (after purchasing an appropriate hanger from KOSPEL
company),eitherhorizontallyorvertically.
6. Mountingofthedeviceinawall-hungpositionshouldbedoneonthewallwith
sufcientcarryingcapacity.Fulltank’sweight:250kg.
7. Thedevicemustbeinstalledinsuchaplaceandinsuchawayinordernotto
oodtheroomincaseoftheemergencywaterleak.
8. Connectionstowatersupplysystemandcentralheatingsystemmustbemade
inaccordancewiththediagraminthisinstallationinstruction.Failuretofollowthe
installationinstructioninvalidatethewarrantyandmaycausecylinder’sdamage.
9. Connectionstowatersupplysystemmustbemadeinaccordancewiththelegally
bindingstandards.
10. Thecylinderisapressureappliancedesignedforconnectiontothewatersupply
systemwherethewaterpressuredoesn’texceed0,6MPa.Ifthewaterpressure
exceeds0,6MPa,thepressurereducingvalvebeforecylindermustbetted.
11. Asmallleakfromthesafetyvalvethroughtheoutletpipemayoccur-itisanormal
operatingstateoftheappliance.Theoutletofthepipehastoremainopen.Do
notclogit,ascloggedoutletmaycauseabreakdownofthecylinder.
12. Donotusethecylinderifyoususpectthatthesafetyvalvemaybefaulty.
13. Thetankisequippedwithamagnesiumanode-anadditionalprotectionagainst
corrosion.Theanodeisanoperatingpart,therefore,itisexposedtowear.The
condition of the magnesium anode should be controlled every 12 months.
The anode must be replaced once every 18 months.
14. Ratedtemperatureofwaterinthecylindershouldnotexceed80°C.
Thecylinderissuitableforttinganimmersionheaterwiththermostate.g.GRW1.4,
GRW2.0.Theimmersionheatermustbettedinlieuofcork1½″.
Amaximumlengthofimmersionheater:400mm.
