Thesweeperisdesignedforuseonalevelsurface.
Withthesidebrushespressed,youcanpushthemachineeasilyoverthesurface
tobecleanend.Thisshouldbedonedoneatnormalwalkingspeed(approx3km/
hr).Theseepingratedependsonthespeedthebrushrollersrotate,andthisin
turndependsonthespeedthemachineispushed.Thepushingforcerequiredis
between3and3,5kg,dependingonthesurface,
Ifyouwishtomovethemachineforlongerdistanceswithoutsweeping,pullit
bachwardssothatthesweepingfunctionisdisabledbythebuilt-infree-wheel
feature.

Nowpressthesafetycapsfromabove,makingsure
thattheyareattachedtothecorrectsides(engraved
rightandleft).
Loosenthefourplasticscrews(4)onthe
undersideofthedustspoiler(3)andplace
thescrewswiththeplainwasher(5)onthe
ground.
Pressthespoilerfromthetopontothe
housing.Nowturnthescrewswiththeplain
washerfrombelowthroughtheholesinthe
housingintothespoiler.Nowtightenthe
screws.
Fixthepushbarintotheworkpositionin
hole(A)usingthestarscrewsprovided(a).
Firstplacewasherno.72onsidebrushno.74abovetheballbearingand
placebothonbearingboltA.Tightenthescrewwithsafetywashersno.76
andno.77intothebolt.
Foldbackthehandleonthemachine.Nowputthe
sweeperupsidedownonthegroundand,remove
thescrewfromthebrassaxleoftheinletbrush.

Description
Toreleasetheconstantpressurefromthesidebrushes,itisrecommendedafter
eachusetomovethemachineapprox.5cmbackwards,inordertorelievethe
bristlesandtoraisethesidebrushesusingthelever(c)(g.2).Thispreventsthe
bristlesfromdeforminganddiminishingtheircleaningefciency.
Toreleasestrainonthebristlesofthesweepingrollersandtosavespacein
storage,youcanunscrewthestarscrews(a)ontheleftandrightofthepushbar,
foldthebarforwardsintotheparkingpositionandreplacethescrewinholeB.
Themachinecannowbestoredverticallyandrequireslessspace.Thecontainer
doesnotneedtobeemptiedtodothis.

Toemptythecontainer
Whenthedirtcontainerisfull,takeholdofthehandleandsimplypullitupwards.
Thecontentscanthenbedisposedofaccordingly.Replacethecontainerinthe
reverseorder.
UnloadingthebrushesLoadingbrushes
Pressthetwo
brushheadstoput
theinletbrushes
intothework
position.
Theheightofthe
sidebrushescan
beadjustedon
bothsides.
Whentheinlet
brushesareno
longerrequired,
presstherelease
leverbrieyandthe
brusheswillengage
intherestposition.

Noworkneedtobedoneonthemachine
becauseitdoesnotrequireservicing.Ho-
wever, you should check after each use
thattherearenothreads,wireorstripsof
materialroundtheroller. If there are any,
theyshouldberemovedimmediatelysinceit
willotherwisebeimpossibleforthemachine
tooerateproperly.
Intheeventogheavysoiling,graspthedust
lters (left and right) behind the cassette
usingthescrewdriver,liftthemoutcomple-
telyandeithercleanthelterorreplaceit.

Thiswarrantycoversmaterialand/orworkmanshiprelateddefectsonlyanddoesnot
extendtoordinarywear.
Machinemustbeoperatedaccordingtoenclosedoperatinginstructionswhicharepartof
presentwarrantyconditions.
Allproductssolddirectlytoprivatecustomersarewarrantiedforaperiodof24months,
whereasthewarrantyperiodforindustrialpurchasesislimitedto12months.

Servicing
Whentherollersareworn,thesweepercan
beplacedapprox.1-1,5mmlowerbyremo-
vingthetwowashersno.13(seepage10).
Important:
Easyreplacementofbrushrollers:
1)Putthemachineuprightonthejointsof
thefolded-inpushbarandtheframe.
2)Turnthebrushrolleruntilthetwoscrews
no.34ontheleftandrightsiderespectively
arevisible(seepage12)andremovethese
4screws.
3)Turnthebrushrollersanotherhalf-turn
andremovethembypullingthemout.
4)Fitthenewrollersinthereverseorder.
One washer no. 13 must
always be kept under the
screwholetoavoiddamaging
totheplasticframe
