INSTRUCTIONS
Thank you for choosing electronic scales from LANAFORM®.
Accurate and easy to use, these scales are a great way to weigh yourself as well as being a stylish addition to any home,
coming in a range of colours and designs.
PLEASE READ ALL THE INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING YOUR“ELECTRONIC SCALES”, ESPECIALLY THESE BASIC
SAFETY GUIDELINES:
• These scales are not suitable for anybody who weighs over 180kg. Overloading them may cause damage and put you at
risk.
• Always use the “Electronic Scales” on a flat, even, hard surface, away from any sources of heat such as cookers, radiators
etc.
• Never use this appliance in a room where aerosol products (sprays) are used, or in a room where oxygen is administered.
• Do not use this appliance near damp areas such as near a bath, sink etc.
• Do not immerse the device in water or any other liquid.
• When the scales are in use, keep them away from sources of electromagnetic waves, such as microwaves, mobile
telephones and wireless networks, as these might cause incorrect weight readings.
• To avoid the risk of electrocution, do not try to repair the device yourself.
• If an electrostatic problem occurs, reinsert the batteries to restore the device to normal.
• If the screen displays the error message “ ”, switch the scales off, then switch on again and follow the instructions.
• Never leave anything on the platform of the scales when not in use.
• The scales switch off automatically a few seconds after being turned on if not used.
• This device is not intended to be used by anybody (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental
abilities, or by anybody without the necessary experience or knowledge, unless they are supervised or given instructions
beforehand on how to use the device by somebody responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to make
sure they do not use the device as a toy.
• Only use the “Electronic Scales” for the purpose for which they are intended and as described in these instructions.

2. THE FIRST TIME YOU USE THE SCALES:
1) Installing the batteries:
Remove the cover from the battery compartment on the bottom of the scales.
Insert 4 new AAA batteries (not provided).
Insert the batteries, making sure you match the “+” and “-“ symbols inside the compartment. Replace the cover.
2) Place the scales on a flat, even, hard surface.
3) Before standing on the scales, make sure the surface of the scales is totally dry and not slippery.
3. SELECTING THE UNIT OF MEASUREMENT:
1) Step on to the scales to switch them on.
2) Press the button on the back of the scales to select “kg” or “lb”.
3) The unit of measurement appears on the screen the next time
the scales are switched on.
4. USING THE SCALES:
1) Step on to the scales to switch them on.
2) “ ” and the unit of measurement “kg” or “lb” will appear on the screen.
3) The scales calculate your weight. Your weight will then flash on the screen twice before being displayed for a few
seconds.
4) The scales switch off automatically.
5) “ ” appears when the weight is too heavy.
6) “ ” appears when the battery is low.
5. MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE:
- Use a soft damp cloth to clean the scales.
- Do not use abrasive detergents.
- Remove the batteries if you have not used the device for a long time.
- Store the device in a dry, safe place.

ADVICE REGARDING THE DISPOSAL OF WASTE
• All the packaging is composed of materials that pose no hazard for the environment and which can be disposed
of at your local sorting centre to be used as secondary raw materials. The cardboard may be disposed of in a
paper recycling bin. The packaging film must be taken to your local sorting and recycling centre.
• When you have finished using the device, please dispose of it in an environmentally friendly way and in accordance with
the law. Prior to disposal, please remove the battery and dispose of it at a collection point so that it can be recycled.
Please note: under no circumstances should spent batteries be disposed of with household waste!!!
LIMITED WARRANTY
LANAFORM® guarantees this product against any material or manufacturing defect for a period of two years from the
date of purchase, except in the circumstances described below.
The LANAFORM® guarantee does not cover damage caused as a result of normal wear to this product. In addition, the
guarantee covering this LANAFORM® product does not cover damage caused by abusive or inappropriate or incorrect use,
accidents, the use of unauthorized accessories, changes made to the product or any other circumstance, of whatever sort,
that is outside LANAFORM®’s control.
LANAFORM® may not be held liable for any type of circumstantial, indirect or specific damage.
All implicit guarantees relating to the suitability of the product are limited to a period of two years from the initial date of
purchase as long as a copy of the proof of purchase can be supplied.
On receipt, LANAFORM® will repair or replace your appliance at its discretion and will return it to you. The guarantee
is only valid through LANAFORM®’s Service Centre®. Any attempt to maintain this product by a person other than
LANAFORM®’s Service Centre will render this guarantee void.
The photographs and other images of the product in this manual and on the packaging are as accurate as possible, but
do not claim to be a perfect reproduction of the product.

différentes couleurs et designs proposés.
VEUILLEZ LIRE TOUTES LES INSTRUCTIONS AVANT D’UTILISER VOTRE « ELECTRONIC SCALE », EN PARTICULIER
CES QUELQUES CONSIGNES DE SECURITE FONDAMENTALES :
• La balance ne convient pas pour des personnes de plus de 180 kgs. Une surcharge peut être la cause de dommages et de
risques.
• Placez toujours l’ « Electronic Scale » sur une surface dure, plane et horizontale, éloignez-la des sources de chaleur telles
que les poêles, radiateurs, etc.
• N’utilisez pas cet appareil dans une pièce où des produits aérosols (sprays) sont employés ou dans une pièce où de
l’oxygène est administré.
• N’utilisez pas l’appareil à proximité de zones humides, comme la baignoire, l’évier, etc.
• Ne plongez pas l’appareil dans l’eau ou dans tout autre liquide.
• Lorsque la balance est en fonctionnement, maintenez-la éloignée des sources d’ondes électromagnétiques comme les
fours à micro-ondes, les téléphones mobiles et les réseaux sans fil, car la pesée risquerait d’être erronée.
• Pour éviter les risques d’électrocution, n’essayez pas de réparer l’appareil par vous-même.
• En cas de défaillance électrostatique, réinstallez les batteries pour retrouver des performances normales.
• Si l’écran indique le message d’erreur « », éteignez la balance. Ensuite rallumez-la et suivez les instructions.
• Ne laissez jamais rien sur la plate-forme de la balance lorsque vous ne l’utilisez pas.
• La balance s’éteint automatiquement quelques secondes après avoir été allumée lorsqu’elle n’est pas utilisée.
• Cet appareil n’est pas prévu pour être utilisé par des personnes, y compris les enfants, dont les capacités physiques,
sensorielles ou mentales sont réduites, ou des personnes dénuées d’expérience ou de connaissance, sauf si elles ont
pu bénéficier, par l’intermédiaire d’une personne responsable de leur sécurité, d’une surveillance ou d’instructions
préalables concernant l’utilisation de l’appareil. Il convient de surveiller les enfants pour s’assurer qu’ils ne jouent pas
avec l’appareil.

2. PREMIERE MISE EN MARCHE DE LA BALANCE :
1) Installation de la batterie :
Retirez le couvercle du compartiment des piles situé sous la balance.
Insérez 4 piles neuves AAA (non-fournies).
Positionnez les piles en respectant les signes « + » et « - » à l’intérieur du compartiment. Replacez le couvercle.
2) Placez la balance sur une surface dure, plane et horizontale.
3) Avant de vous placer sur la balance, assurez-vous que la surface de la balance est complètement sèche et non glissante.
3. FONCTION SELECTEUR D’UNITE :
1) Montez sur la balance pour l’allumer.
2) Appuyez sur le bouton situé au dos de la balance pour sélectionner l’unité « kg » ou « lb ».
3) L’unité de poids définie s’affiche lorsque la balance est allumée la fois suivante.
4. MODE D’EMPLOI :
1) Montez sur la balance pour l’allumer.
2) « » et l’unité de poids « kg » ou « lb » s’affichent à l’écran.
3) La balance calcule directement votre poids. Le poids calculé clignote ensuite à deux reprises pour enfin s’afficher
pendant quelques secondes.
4) La balance s’éteint automatiquement.
5) « » s’affiche lorsque la balance est trop chargée.
6) « » s’affiche lorsque la batterie est faible.
5. ENTRETIEN ET STOCKAGE :
- Utilisez un chiffon doux et humide pour nettoyer la balance.
- N’utilisez pas de détergents abrasifs.
- Enlevez les piles en cas d’inutilisation prolongée de l’appareil.
- Rangez l’appareil dans un endroit sec et sûr.

CONSEILS RELATIFS À L’ÉLIMINATION DES DÉCHETS
• L’emballage est entièrement composé de matériaux sans danger pour l’environnement qui peuvent être déposés
auprès du centre de tri de votre commune pour être utilisés comme matières secondaires. Le carton peut être
placé dans un bac de collecte papier. Les films d’emballage doivent être remis au centre de tri et de recyclage de
votre commune.
• Lorsque vous ne vous servez plus de l’appareil, éliminez-le de manière respectueuse de l’environnement et
conformément aux directives légales. Retirez préalablement la pile et déposez-la dans une borne de collecte afin qu’elle
soit recyclée.
Attention : les piles usées ne doivent en aucune façon être mises aux ordures ménagères !!!
GARANTIE LIMITÉE
LANAFORM® garantit que ce produit est exempt de tout vice de matériau et de fabrication à compter de sa date d’achat et
ce pour une période de deux ans, à l’exception des précisions ci-dessous.
La garantie LANAFORM® ne couvre pas les dommages causés suite à une usure normale de ce produit. En outre, la
garantie sur ce produit LANAFORM® ne couvre pas les dommages causés à la suite de toute utilisation abusive ou
inappropriée ou encore de tout mauvais usage, accident, fixation de tout accessoire non autorisé, modification apportée
au produit ou de toute autre condition, de quelle que nature que ce soit, échappant au contrôle de LANAFORM®.
LANAFORM® ne sera pas tenue pour responsable de tout type de dommage accessoire, consécutif ou spécial.
Toutes les garanties implicites d’aptitude du produit sont limitées à une période de deux années à compter de la date
d’achat initiale pour autant qu’une copie de la preuve d’achat puisse être présentée.
Dès réception, LANAFORM® réparera ou remplacera, suivant le cas, votre appareil et vous le renverra. La garantie n’est
effectuée que par le biais du Centre Service de LANAFORM®. Toute activité d’entretien de ce produit confiée à toute
personne autre que le Centre Service de LANAFORM® annule la présente garantie.

Bedankt voor uw aankoop van de «Electronic Scale» van LANAFORM®.
Hij is nauwkeurig en eenvoudig in gebruik. U kunt er zich op wegen maar hij staat ook mooi in uw interieur dankzij de
verschillende kleuren en designs.
GELIEVE ALLE INSTRUCTIES TE LEZEN ALVORENS UW «ELECTRONIC SCALE» TE GEBRUIKEN, IN HET BIJZONDER DE
ONDERSTAANDE FUNDAMENTELE VEILIGHEIDSRICHTLIJNEN:
• De weegschaal is niet geschikt voor mensen van meer dan 180 kg. Overbelasting kan schade veroorzaken en risico’s
inhouden voor het toestel.
• Plaats de «Electronic Scale» altijd op een hard, vlak en horizontaal oppervlak en hou hem uit de buurt van
warmtebronnen zoals kachels, radiatoren, enz.
• Gebruik dit toestel niet in een ruimte waar producten verstoven worden (sprays) of in een ruimte waar zuurstof wordt
toegediend.
• Gebruik het toestel niet in de buurt van vochtige zones zoals de badkuip, de gootsteen, enz.
• Dompel het toestel niet onder in water of een andere vloeistof.
• Hou de weegschaal wanneer deze in werking is uit de buurt van bronnen van elektromagnetische golven zoals de
microgolfoven, GSM’s en draadloze netwerken, die kunnen het meetresultaat verstoren.
• Probeer het toestel niet zelf te herstellen, dat houdt een risico op elektrocutie in.
• Bij elektrostatische storingen moet u de batterijen opnieuw installeren om opnieuw van de normale werking te
genieten.
• Indien het scherm de foutmelding « » aangeeft, moet u de weegschaal uitzetten. Steek hem vervolgens opnieuw
aan en volg de instructies.
• Laat niets achter op het platform van de weegschaal wanneer u deze niet gebruikt.
• De weegschaal wordt automatisch gedoofd enkele seconden nadat hij werd aangestoken als hij ongebruikt blijft.
• Dit toestel is niet geschikt om gebruikt te worden door personen (met inbegrip van kinderen) met beperkte fysieke,
zintuiglijke of mentale capaciteiten of personen zonder ervaring of kennis, behalve indien ze via een persoon die
verantwoordelijk is voor hun veiligheid onder toezicht staan of voorafgaand instructies kregen over het gebruik van het

2. EERSTE INWERKINGSTELLING WEEGSCHAAL:
1) Installeren van de batterij:
Verwijder het deksel van het batterijvak aan de onderkant van de weegschaal.
Plaats 4 nieuwe AAA-batterijen (niet geleverd)
Plaats de batterijen volgens de tekens «+» en «-» binnen het vak. Plaats het deksel opnieuw.
2) Plaats de weegschaal op een hard, vlak en horizontaal oppervlak.
3) Controleer alvorens u op de weegschaal gaat staan, of het oppervlak van de weegschaal volledig droog en niet glad is.
3. SELECTEREN VAN DE EENHEID:
1) Ga op de weegschaal staan om hem in te schakelen.
2) Druk op de knop op de achterzijde van de weegschaal om de eenheid «
kg
» of «
lb
» te kiezen.
3) De gekozen weegeenheid verschijnt wanneer de weegschaal de volgende keer wordt ingeschakeld.
4. GEBRUIKSAANWIJZING:
1) Ga op de weegschaal staan om hem in te schakelen.
2) « » en de eenheid «kg» of «lb» worden op het scherm weergegeven
3) De weegschaal berekent onmiddellijk uw gewicht. Het berekende gewicht knippert twee maal en blijft daarna enkele
seconden weergegeven.
4) De weegschaal wordt automatisch uitgeschakeld.
5) « » verschijnt wanneer de weegschaal overbelast is.
6) « » verschijnt wanneer de batterijlading zwak is.
5. ONDERHOUD EN OPSLAG:
- Gebruik een zachte, vochtige doek om de weegschaal schoon te maken.
- Gebruik geen schuurmiddelen.
- Verwijder de batterij wanneer u het toestel gedurende lange tijd niet gebruikt.
- Bewaar het toestel op een droge en veilige plaats.
