ThefollowinginstructionsareforWindowsXP/Vista/7installation.
Note:Customersoutsidethe50UnitedStatesandPuertoRicowillnothaveaccesstothedigitalstreet
maps.Therefore,internationalcustomerswillneedtouseGoogleEarth®astheirmappingengine.U.S.
customers,whocanalsouseGoogleEarth,canalsochoosethisoptioniftheywanttoreducethe
programsizeontheircomputer.
InstallthePastTracksoftwareBEFOREconnectingyourTrackingKey/Pro®tothecomputer.
Youmustfollowtheseinstructionsexactly.Ifyoudonot,yourGPSdevicewillnotdownloadcorrectly.
1. InsertthePastTrackCDthatcamewithyourGPSdeviceintoyourCD/DVDdrive.Thesoftware
installationprogramwillstartautomatically.
ThefollowingUserAccountControlscreenwilldisplayonWindowsVistaandWindows7computers.
Thisisnormal.PastTrackwillinstallthemappingsystemandGPSdevicedriversonyourcomputer.This
willnotharmyourcomputerinanyway.Choose‘Yes’.

2. TheInstallShieldWizardscreenwilldisplaytostarttheinstallation.Choose‘Next’.
3. ReadandaccepttheLicenseAgreement.Choose‘Next’
4. Choosethesetuptypewhichbestsuitsyourneeds.ForallusersoutsideoftheUnitedStates,
chooseInternational.YoucanusetheStreetMapsmoduleofPastTrackorGoogleEarth®ifyou
areloggingdataintheUnitedStates.IfyouareusingthedeviceoutsideoftheU.S.,choose
InternationalanduseGoogleEarth®(downloadinstructionsonpage12)forviewingyour
trackingdata.Choose‘Next’.
