IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
Read all instructions before using.
Before connecting the kettle to the power supply, make sure that the voltage indicated on
the appliance (underside the kettle and base) corresponds with the voltage in your home. If
this is not the case, contact your dealer and do not use the kettle.
Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a table or counter or touch a hot surface.
Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner or in a heated oven.
Do not operate the appliance without anything in it to avoid damaging the heat elements.
Ensure that the kettle is used on a rm and at surface out of reach of children; this will
prevent the kettle from overturning and prevent damage or injury.
To protect against a re, electric shock or personal injury, do not immerse cord, electric
plugs or kettle in water or other liquids.
While water is boiling, or just after the water has been boiled, avoid contact with steam from
the spout.
Always take care to pour boiling water slowly and carefully without tipping the kettle too
fast.
Be careful of relling, when the kettle is hot.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliances by a person responsible for
their safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure, that they do not play with the appliance.
Do not touch the hot surface. Use the handle or the button.
The attached base cannot be used for purpose other than intended.

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
Extreme caution must be used, when moving the appliance containing hot water.
The appliance is not a toy. Do not let the children play it.
The kettle is for household use only. Do not use outdoors.
The use of accessories, which are not recommended by the appliance manufacturer, may
result in re, electric shock or personal injury.
Unplug the kettle from the outlet, when not in use and before cleaning. Allow the kettle to
cool before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning the appliance.
To disconnect, turn the control to “off” position, then remove plug from wall outlet.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent
or a similarly qualied person in order to avoid a hazard.
Do not use the appliance for purpose other than intended.
The kettle can only be used with the stand provided.
If the kettle is overlled, boiling water may spill out.
Always ensure the lid is closed and do not lift it, while the water is boiling. Scalding may
occur, if the lid is removed during the brewing cycles.
This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as:
staff kitchen areas in shops, ofces and other working environments;
farm houses;
by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments;
bed-and-breakfast type environments.

FUNCTIONS
1. Press any temperature button: the kettle will heat water to the corresponding temperature
and keep it afterwards. When heating, the temperature indicator will be illuminated blue, once
the water has been heated to the selected keep warm temperature, the power indicator will be
illuminated green. When the keeping warm time has run out (about 30 minutes), both indica-
tors will be extinguished.
2. Press the power switch: the kettle will boil the water and stop heating. When heating, the
power indicator will be illuminated red, after boiling, the red indicator will be extinguished, and
the other indicators will not light.
3. Press the power switch rstly, and then press any temperature button: the kettle will boil
the water, then reduce to the corresponding temperature and keep it afterwards. After the
power switch and any temperature button is pressed, the power indicator will be illuminated
red, and the temperature indicator will be illuminated blue; after boiling and reducing to the
selected temperature, the temperature indicator will be also illuminated blue, but the power in-
dicator will be illuminated from red to green. When the keeping warm time has run out (about
30 minutes), both indicators will be extinguished.
4. Press the temperature button rstly, then press the power switch and shut off the power
source.
5. Press one temperature button rstly, and then press another temperature button: the water
will be heated to the last selected temperature and kept warm at it.
6. Press the power switch rstly, and press one temperature button, then press another tem-
perature button: the kettle will boil the water, and reduce to the last selected temperature
directly and keep it afterwards.

BEFORE THE FIRST USE
If you are using the kettle for the rst time, it is recommended that you clean your kettle
before use by boiling a full kettle of water twice and then discarding the water. Wipe the
surface with a damp cloth.
NOTE: The maximum capacity of the kettle is 1.5 L.
