Dear Customer
Your new spare battery power bank is the perfect accessory when you spend an extended period of time
without access to an electricity supply.
With a charging voltage of 5 V, you can use it to charge up various battery-operated end devices such as
smartphones, digital cameras, MP3 players, tablets, etc. Depending on the battery capacity of the devices
they can be charged multiple times, until the spare battery is empty.

The spare battery power bank has the following advantages:
•smart protection against: overloading, exhaustive discharging, overvoltage and short-circuiting
•low self-discharge
•one battery charge (8,000 mAh) is enough to charge, for example, a mobile drive with a battery capacity of 500mAh
approx. 14 – 16 times or a mobile device with a battery capacity of 2,000 mAh approx. 3 – 4 times
•2 USB ports allowing you to charge 2 mobile devices at the same time with normal (output OUT 5V/1A) or high (output
OUT 5V/2.4A) power
•2 built-in charging cables in the casing (1x USB and 1x micro USB).
Use
•To ensure the device functions smoothly it is best to charge it up regularly.
•When the internal capacity of the built-in battery in the spare battery is too low or if it encounters electronic problems,
the spare battery will switch itself off to protect your battery-operated mobile device from any damage.
•If the spare battery is not connected to any other mobile device, it will turn itself off automatically after a few seconds.
Charging the spare battery power bank via USB
You can charge the spare battery with the built-in charging cable or the separate charging cable provided.

Or connect the supplied charging cable with the micro USB plug to the micro USB input IN on the spare battery. Then
plug the USB connector into a free USB port on your computer or use a mains adapter with a USB socket (not included
in delivery). It will start charging immediately.
The blue indicator lights on the charging display show the current capacity of the spare battery while it is charging
(P=20% - O=40% - W=60% - E=80% - R=100%):
•Indicator light is off - charging capacity not reached
•Indicator light is flashing - being charged
•Indicator light lights up - capacity reached
Once all five indicator lights are lit up, the spare battery is fully charged.
Because of the lower voltage, charging the spare battery via computer takes significantly longer than if you charge the
spare battery using a mains adapter.

•Depending on which charging capacity you would like, plug the USB connector of the charging cable supplied into either
the outlet OUT 5V/1A or OUT 5V/2.4A on the spare battery. Connect the micro USB plug to your mobile device.
If your mobile device has a mini USB or an Apple® Lightning connection, use the appropriate adapter provided.
It begins to charge automatically.
•If the device does not automatically begin to charge, briefly press the On/Off switch on the side of the spare battery to
activate charging.
The blue indicator lights on the charging display show the current capacity of the battery while it is charging (P=20% - O
=40% - W=60% - E=80% - R=100%):
•Indicator light lights up - capacity still remaining
•Indicator light is off - already empty
If all five indicator lights are off, the spare battery is completely empty and must be charged up again before the next use.
The spare battery switches itself off automatically once the mobile device connected to it is fully charged.
•If you want to stop charging before the mobile device is fully charged, briefly press the On/Off button on the spare
battery twice until the indicator lights go out, and then remove the charging cable from the device.
•After disconnecting the mobile device from the spare battery, the indicator lights of the spare battery will flash or light
up for approx. 30 seconds.
•If you connect mobile devices with a power consumption of less than 85 mA to be charged, the spare battery will
switch itself off automatically after a short time because it does not recognise the device - see section
“Problems/solutions”.

The charging status will be shown for approx. 30 seconds:
•Indicator light lights up - capacity still remaining

Problems/Solutions
The device is not charging
Are the device and the spare battery connected correctly?
Is the spare battery switched on? If necessary, briefly press the On/Off switch once to turn the spare battery on.
Is the spare battery charged up? If none of the indicator lights lights up, the spare battery is empty.
If you are using the spare battery near strong magnetic fields (e.g. from any television devices or speakers), the
charging process may malfunction. Change the location of the spare battery and try connecting it with the mobile
device again.
The spare battery switches itself off automatically after a short time
Does the device connected to it have a power consumption of less than 85 mA and therefore is not recognized? In
this case, connect another device into the second output on the spare battery so that the current strength is above 85 mA.
