Whenafixedimage(e.g.logos,screenmenus,videogame,
computerdisplayorteletextpages)isdisplayedonthe
televisionforanextendedperioditcanbecomepermanently
imprintedonthescreen.Thisphenomenonisknownas“image
burn”or“burn-in”.Imageburnisnotcoveredunderthe
manufacturer’swarranty.

Inordertopreventimageburn,avoiddisplayingafixed
imageonyourtelevision’sscreenforaprolongedperiod(2or
morehoursforLCD,1ormorehoursforPlasma).

Imageburncanalsooccurontheletterboxedareasof
yourtelevisionifyouusethe4:3aspectratiosettingforan
extendedperiod.
AslongasthisunitisconnectedtotheACwalloutlet,itis
notdisconnectedfromtheACpowersourceevenifyou
turnoffthisunitbySWITCH.
Ifyouignorethewarningmessage,youmaybeseriouslyinjuredorthereisa
