What is a Remote Laundry Monitor
?
A Remote Laundry Monitor (RLM) is a small digital display
unit that uses your home’s existing electrical wiring to
receive information from your LG Washing Machine and
Dryer in your laundry room and display it for you in any
other location that you choose within your home.

Important Safety Instructions

If the pins of the power plug are
contaminated, wipe it clean.

you unplug the power cord.

an enclosed place. It must
have unrestricted air flow.
Overheating may cause plastic components
to deform and may even cause fire.
Do not install where the unit might
get wet (near a bath tub or sink), or
where it might be exposed to rain
(on a patio or deck).
It may cause electric shock, fire,
malfunction, or arpage.
Do not install the unit in a
dusty environment.
It may cause fire or electric shock.
Do not place heavy objects
on the power cord.
It may cause fire or electric shock.
Do not cover the power cord
with a rug.
If the covered po er cord is damaged,
it may cause fire or electric shock.
If the inside of the unit has
been exposed to water,
unplug the unit, then call the
Service Center.

The cover of the cord may melt,

Never place the unit near heat sources.

Stop using the unit if smoke
or strange smell occurs.
If the unit is subsequently used, it

If it occurs, unplug the unit and call
an authorized service center.
Do not disassemble or modify
the unit. Take the unit to an
authorized service center
when service is required.
If a gas leak occurs, do not touch
the power plug or operate the
equipment. Open a window to
ventilate. Do not use your home or
cellular telephone. Do not operate
any switches or appliances.
Call the appropriate emergency
personnel (911, fire, rescue, gas
company) from a neighbor’s phone.
Install the unit by following the
Operating Instructions.
Improper installation may cause fire or electric

1) Safety Cover ( )
Do not remove the Safety Cover except when using the RLM.
Be sure to keep the Safety Cover and be careful not to lose
the Gasket on the back of the Safety Cover .
When installing the Safety Cover, make sure two screws are reinstalled.
Unplug, when removing or installing Safety Cover.
Failure to follow these instructions can damage your appliance
and can be dangerous for the user.
