1. Inspection of the delivery
Before the utilization of the LOJER Pulley please make sure that the package is
whole and no transportation damages can be observed. Remove all the packaging
material.
The delivery should include all the parts mentioned in the packing list. If there are any
deficiencies, contact the supplier immediately.
Note! This symbol points out important safety instructions,
which must be very carefully followed. By following the
instructions of this manual you ensure the personal safety
and property of yourself and others.
2. Installation
You can install the LOJER Pulley against a wall, on the slide bars or to the LOJER
Module. When fixed against a wall, always make sure it is solid enough to stand the
utilization of the device. Pulley must be installed exactly vertically (when looked at
both from the side and from the front).
Ensure the strength of the wall and
very steady attachment to the wall!
3. Utilization
3.1 Adjusting the weights
In the E- and K-Pulleys you can adjust the weights at 0,5 – 1,0 kg intervals by placing
the adjusting fork in a slot under the desired weight amount. There is also available a
set of extra weights (3 x 0,250 kg, see: Accessories) that you can add above the
weight stack when needed.
NOTE! Before the utilization please make sure that
the fork is correctly positioned at the end of the slot and
the rope is undamaged.

The place for the extra-weights (when not used) is in front of the pulley.
3.2 Adjusting the drawing height
You can adjust the drawing height by moving the adjustment device along the
adjusting bar (the clear tube with holes aside). You can adjust the drawing height or
the length of the rope by pulling the adjusting knob and at the same time moving the
adjustment device up- or downwards. When you release the knob the device locks to
its place in the closest hole.

The lower adjustment device is released by pulling the knob and turning it a half way
round. When the device is released, it can be moved together with the upper
adjustment device.

3.3 Changing of the pulley handle
You may change the pulley handle by opening the hook at the end of the rope and
attaching the new handle into its place. There are various types of handles available
for LOJER Pulleys. You receive the standard triangle handle with the Pulley.
3.4 Changing of the rope
The condition of the rope must be regularly checked and the rope must be replaced
by a new one when its outer surface is clearly worn.
Connect the new rope to the old one with efficient glue and draw the new rope in its
place. If the old rope has been cut completely, splice the new rope in its place
according to the following instructions and picture below:
•Slide the rope through the height adjustment wheel.
•Slip it downwards round the lower adjustment wheel so
that the rope comes out from behind of the wheel.
•Slide the rope then upwards and through the upper
wheel so that the rope comes out from behind of the
wheel.
•Pull the rope downwards and tie it to its place above the
weight stack.
4. Service
Lubricate the sliding bars of the weight stack at least every 6 weeks. Check also the
condition of the rope regularly and change it when necessary, minimum requirement
being however after 12 months of utilization. Use always the high-quality LOJER
rope.
