2.3.1 Lieferumfang
Drehmomentvorsatz X3 komplett mit:

2.4 Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
Drehmomentvorsatz X3 ist nur zur Verwendung mit
den Mafell-Geräten A18 M bl und ASB18 M bl
bestimmt.
Für die Verwendung an diesen Maschinen muss der
mitgelieferte Zusatzhandgriff auf die vollständige
Länge montiert und verwendet werden. Maschine, X3
und Zusatzhandgriff sind mit einem speziellen Profil
am Spannhals ausgestattet und so aufeinander
abgestimmt.
Achtung
Aus Sicherheitsgründen darf der
Drehmomentvorsatz X3 nicht mit
anderen Maschinen verwendet
werden.
Für einen Schaden, der aus einer anderen Nutzung
hervorgeht, haftet der Hersteller nicht.
3 Sicherheitshinweise
Gefahr
Beachten Sie stets die folgenden

jeweiligen Verwenderland
geltenden
Sicherheitsbestimmungen!
-Bewahren Sie alle Sicherheitshinweise und
Anweisungen auf und geben Sie das Gerät nur
zusammen mit diesen Dokumenten weiter.
-Lesen Sie vor der Benutzung des Geräts die
beiliegenden Sicherheitshinweise und die
Gebrauchsanleitung aufmerksam und vollständig
durch.
-Beachten Sie auch die Betriebsanleitung der
Antriebsmaschine.
-Benutzen Sie den Zusatzhandgriff in der
vollständig montierten Länge von 630 mm. So ist
er auf das hohe Drehmoment abgestimmt.
-Zusatzgriff und X3 müssen korrekt montiert sein.

-Der Verlust der Kontrolle über die Maschine kann
zu Verletzungen führen.
-Es können sehr hohe Rückdrehmomente
auftreten!
-X3 und Maschine immer mit beiden Händen an
den vorgesehenen Handgriffen festhalten.
-Einen sicheren Stand einnehmen und konzentriert
arbeiten.
-Nicht auf Leitern oder erhöhten Stellen verwenden.
-Ein beschädigter oder rissiger Zusatzhandgriff ist
zu ersetzen. Gerät mit defektem Zusatzhandgriff
nicht betreiben. Mehrere X3 dürfen nicht
hintereinander angebracht werden.
4 Zusammenbau des Handgriffes
Die Teile wie gezeigt zusammenschrauben und von
Hand kräftig festziehen (Abb. 1 und 2).
5 Getriebevorsatz an Maschine
befestigen
Schieben Sie den X3 vollständig auf die
Maschine bis die Profile der Bauteile
ineinandergreifen.
An der Stellschraube (2) stellen Sie die
Spannkraft ein:
Die Spannkraft ist richtig eingestellt, wenn sich
Spannhebel (3) nur mit Kraft, bis zum Anschlag
nach unten bewegen lässt und der X3 fest am
Gerät angebracht ist (Abb. 3).
Drücken Sie den Spannhebel (3) mit Kraft, bis
zum Anschlag nach unten und befestigen den
X3 somit an der Maschine (Abb. 4).
Schieben Sie den Zusatzhandgriff vollständig
auf (4) bis die Profile der Bauteile ineinander
greifen.
Ziehen Sie den Zusatzhandgriff durch drehen
kräftig fest. Prüfen Sie, dass Handgriff und X3
sicher angebracht sind (Abb. 5 und 6).
6 Wartung
MAFELL-Maschinen sind wartungsarm konstruiert.
Die eingesetzten Kugellager sind auf Lebenszeit
geschmiert. Nach längerer Betriebszeit empfehlen
wir, die Maschine einer autorisierten MAFELL
Kundendienstwerkstatt zur Durchsicht zu übergeben.

2.2 Device identification

2.3.1 Scope of supply
Torque attachment X3 complete with:
1 gear
1 additional handle

2.4 Use according to intended purpose
Torque attachment X3 is only intended to be used
with the Mafell devices A18 M bl and ASB18 M bl.
When it is to be used with these machines, the
additional handle included in the supply must be
installed and used in its full length. Machine, X3 and
additional handle are equipped with a special profile
on the clamping neck and are thus matched to each
other.
Caution
For safety reasons, the torque
attachment X3 may not be used
with other machines.
The manufacturer shall not be liable for any damage
arising from another use.
3 Safety instructions
Danger
Always observe the following safety
instructions and the safety
regulations applicable in the
respective country of use!
-Please keep all safety instructions and instructions
and only pass on the device together with these
documents.
-Before using the device, please attentively read
the enclosed safety instructions and the directions
for use in their entirety.
-Also pay attention to the operating instructions for
the drive motor.
-Use the additional handle in its complete installed
length of 630 mm. In this manner, it is matched to
the high torque.
-Additional handle and X3 must be correctly
installed.
-Losing control of the machine may lead to injuries.
-Very high back torques may occur!
-Always hold the X3 and the machine with both
hands at the handles intended for that purpose.
-Take up a secure stand and work with
concentration.
-Do not use on ladders or in raised positions.
-A damaged or fissured additional handle must be
replaced. Do not operate the device with defective

additional handle. It is not permitted to install
several X3 in series.
4 Assembling the handle
Screw together the parts as shown and firmly fasten
by hand (Fig. 1 and 2).
5 Fastening the gear attachment on
the machine
Push the X3 completely onto the machine until
the profiles of the components fully interlock.
Adjust the clamping force at the adjusting screw
(2):
The clamping force is correctly set if the
clamping arm (3) can only be moved down to
the limit stop by exerting force and the X3 is
firmly attached to the device (Fig. 3).
Slide the clamping arm (3) downwards up to the
limit stop with force, thus fastening the X3 on
the machine (Fig. 4).
Slide the additional handle completely on (4)
until the profiles of the components interlock.
Firmly fasten the additional handle by turning.
Check whether the handle and the X3 are firmly
attached (Fig. 5 and 6).
6 Maintenance
MAFELL machines are designed to be low in
maintenance. The ball bearings used are greased for
life. After the machine has been in operation for some
time, we recommend to take it to an authorised
MAFELL customer service shop for inspection.
