Please note all (Ref.) refer to the Controls and Functions mapping guide on
Page 1.
To get the radio started, plug the connector into the back of
the system labelled DC IN (Ref.) and the power supply into the
mains.
Turn on the the radio via the power supply ‘ON/OFF’ switch at
back of system (Ref.).
Fully extend the antenna (Ref.) so that it can rotate to get the
best FM signal.
Press and hold the ‘Standby/Dimmer’ button to turn on the unit
(Ref.). The system should go straight to “DAB+ Radio”. The
rst time you switch to DAB mode, the radio will automatically
update the time and date and set this on the unit.
Press the ‘Mode’ button (Ref.) to switch between “DAB/FM/AUX-
IN”
Standby
To switch the music system back to standby, press and hold the
‘Standby/Dimmer’ button (Ref.). To turn o, fully switch the
button to‘OFF’ at the rear of the unit (Ref.) and turn o at the
mains. The cord must be out of reach of children.

Press and hold the ‘Standby/Dimmer’ button (Ref.) to turn
the radio on. To select DAB mode, press the ‘Mode’ button
repeatedly until “DAB” appears on the display screen.
Fully extend the antenna (Ref.) to ensure that you receive the
best signal.
To begin searching for available stations, perform an auto scan
by pressing the ‘Scan’ button (Ref.) and then releasing. This will
start scanning up the frequency band and store all stations that
have a good signal.
The radio will now begin to search for available station and will
automatically save all the stations with a strong signal. After
searching has nished, it will automatically play the rst station
stored.
To browse through all of the stations that have been stored, use
the ‘Next’ (Ref.) and ‘Prev’ (Ref.) buttons to scroll through
the stations. To select a station to play, ‘Enter’ button (Ref.) to
conrm your selection.
When you power up the radio again after switching o, it will
automatically tune to the same station (DAB+ or FM) that was
last selected.

How to store a preset radio station
Up to 10 preset stations can be set. To store a station that you are
currently playing:
Press and hold the ‘Preset’ button (Ref.). Preset “Empty 01” will
ash on the display.
If you would like to set the station as preset 1, simply press‘Enter’
to store the staion as preset 1. The display will show “Preset “x”
stored”.
To set more preset options, repeat the same process but use the
‘Prev’ (Ref.) and ‘Next’ (Ref.) buttons to scroll through the 10
preset options you can set as the stations preset number. Again,
conrm your choice by pressing ‘Enter’ (Ref.).
How to play a preset radio station
To recall your preset stations, press the ‘Preset’ button (Ref.).
Press ‘Prev’ (Ref.) or ‘Next’ (Ref.) buttons to scroll through
your preset stations.
Press ‘Enter’ button (Ref.) to select your choice and the station
will begin playing.

DAB/DAB+ Station Information
Whilst listening to a DAB/DAB+ station, press the ‘Info’ button
(Ref.) repeatedly to show the dierent programme information.
Bit Rate: Shows the data rate at which the signal is being
transmitted.
Bit Error Rate (BER): Provides details of the signal error rate.
Channel and Frequency: Displays the station’s transmission
channel number and frequency.
PTY (Programme Type): Shows the type and description of the
programme provided by the DAB station.
Time and Date: Displays the time and date information
provided by the broadcaster.
DAB Indication: Indicates DAB mode.
Dynamic Label Segment (DLS): Displays scrolling text
information supplied by the broadcaster .

FM Radio
To begin enjoying FM radio, press and hold the ‘Standby/
Dimmer’ button (Ref.) to turn the radio on.
Follow by pressing the ‘Mode’ button (Ref.) to switch to “FM”
mode - it will display on the screen that this mode is selected.
The rst time FM mode is selected, the FM frequency “87.5MHz”
will be displayed on the screen.
Fully extend the antenna (Ref.).
To begin searching for FM stations available, perform an auto-
scan by pressing the ‘Scan’button (Ref.). The radio will now
begin scanning up the frequency band and play the rst station
it nds with good signal.
How to tune to a specic frequency
To listen to a specic frequency, press and hold the ‘Next’ button
(Ref.) to search forward quickly and the ‘Prev’ button (Ref.)
to search back quickly. It will stop searching when the button is
released.
To search manually and slowly for the frequency, press the ‘Next’
(Ref.) and ‘Prev’ (Ref.) buttons multiple times rather than
holding.
