1. Attach a support tube onto the trailer’s
rear cross member. Cross the U-bolts
under the member as shown, using one
straight and one dimpled U-bolt. Center
the support tube and brackets on the
trailer, then tighten.
2. The forward support tube should be mounted
about 48” or more forward of the rear support
tube. Mount it either onto a frame cross member
or onto the V of the frame rails. If you choose to
mount on the V, install the U-bolts parallel across
the frame as shown to the left.
3. If you mounted the support tube on the V you will need to check your spacing. Measure the
distance between the front and rear support tubes. Make sure they are an equal distance apart.
Center the support tube and brackets on the trailer, then tighten the U-bolts.
4. Carefully push the four end plugs into the ends
of the support tubes.
