5 First Ride
MODSTER M1
There are safety risks when learning to ride the M1 . You must read the Safety lnstructions
before your rst ride. For your safety, your M1 is not activated at this time and will beep
occasionally after Power ON.
SETTING YOUR HOVERBOARD TO DIFFERENT MODES:
The hoverboard is shaking, it is a little dangerous , whats the problem?
lf shaking, it‘s possible that the user‘s weight is not enough for the hoverboard, you can
adjust it to child mode by following these instructions:
Stand the M1 on its side, press the power button to turn it on - release the button - then
keep it pressed for about 6 seconds. The hoverboard will emit a beep, and the hoverboard is
now in child mode.
7. The speed of two sides of the wheel is different/ I can not turn uently with the
hoverboard/ one side of the pedals is not on the horizontal line when starting up, what
should I do?
The hoverboard is losing balance now, please calibrate it.
Conrm that the hoverboard is in the off state and keep both side of the pedals parallel to
the horizontal plane.
Make sure the hoverboard is turned off, press and hold the power switch for 5 seconds and
then release it. When you hear a sound, the system starts to calibrate; the red light (that is,
the running indicator and the left turn indicator) ashes 3 times.
Wait until the red light is on to conrm the system calibration is conrmed. Turn the
hoverboard off again, and next time you switch it on the calibration will be completed.
8. l‘m an experienced rider, I do not like the self-balance, can I cancel it?
Yes, you can cancel the self-balance aspect of the hoverboard.
Place the board horizontally-make sure it is turned on, press the power switch for about 6
seconds, until you hear the beep sound, restart the hoverboard to complete the
adjustment.
9. When I stop riding, the M1 is shaking heavily, is it normal?
lf you slow down and come to a stop suddenly, the M1 will shake for a few seconds. This is
caused by the internal self-balancing gyroscopes. To prevent this shaking, slow down
gradually, not suddenly. You can also adjust it to child mode (see above how to do this)
10. What should I do if there are problems with my Hoverboard?
lf you have any problems with your M1 , please contact the place of purchase.
