INTRODUCTION
1.1 Description
The iTH Series instruments monitor and control both tem erature and relative humidity.
• Used with an iTH robe the controller comes with dual dis lays. The to dis lays
relative humidity and the bottom dis lays tem erature. Relative Humidity can be
toggled with Tem erature readings (by ressing the bbutton) or Dew oint readings
(by ressing the cbutton). Dew oint is the tem erature at which water va or from
the air begins to form dro lets and condenses on surfaces that are colder than the
dew oint of air.
• The tem erature and humidity control can be achieved by using on/off or PID
heat/cool control strategy. Control can be o timized with an auto tune feature. The
instrument offers a ram to set oint with timed soak eriod before switching off the
out ut.
The instruments are sim le to configure and use, while roviding tremendous versatility
and a wealth of owerful features. The iTH Series instruments are available either as
monitors or controllers. The monitors are extremely accurate rogrammable digital anel
meters dis laying humidity, tem erature, or dew oint. The controllers also rovide dual
loo control for both humidity and tem erature and are easily rogrammed for any
control or alarming requirement from sim le on-off to full autotune PID control.
The iTH family of meters and controllers are available in four true DIN Sizes with NEMA 4,
IP65 s lash resistant bezels: the ultra com act 1/32 DIN (the world's smallest dual loo
Humidity + Tem erature controller); the o ular midsize 1/16 DIN square bezel with dual
dis lay; the 1/8 DIN vertical, and the 1/8 DIN horizontal with the big bright 21mm digits.
The iTH series LED dis lays can be rogrammed to change color between Green,
Amber, and Red at any set oint or alarm oint.
The iTH controller models offer a choice of two control or alarm out uts in almost any
combination: solid state relays (SSR); Form "C" SPDT (Single Pole Double Throw)
relays; ulsed 10 Vdc out ut for use with an external SSR; or Analog Out ut selectable
for control or retransmission of the rocess value. Universal ower su ly acce ts 90 to
240 Vac. Low voltage ower o tion acce ts 24 Vac or 12 to 36 Vdc.
The Networking and Communications o tions include direct Ethernet LAN connectivity
with an Embedded Web Server, and serial communications. The -C24 serial
communications o tion includes both RS-232 and RS-485. Protocols include both
MODBUS and a straightforward ASCII rotocol. The -C4EI o tion includes both Ethernet
and RS-485 ASCII/MODBUS on one device.
The iTH Series meters and controllers are designed for easy integration with o ular
industrial automation, data acquisition and control rograms as well as Microsoft Visual
