For optimum performance the recommended mounting height
of the unit has to be between 2m (6.6ft) and 3m (10ft) – with
2,5m (8ft) the best performance height -Do not mount the unit
higher than 3m (10ft) as this will affect the detection functions
of the unit.
When selecting your installation area it’s important to be aware
of positioning the Night Watcher fixture sight line due to possible
factors that could cause false triggering; such as direct sunlight,
window refection, air condition units, swimming pool reflection,
direct street lighting or large vegetation in the installation area.
To prolong the lifespan of the Night Watcher fixture it is advised
to install the unit in a selected area that is not directly exposed
to extreme weather conditions and only if possible under an eave
based on the recommended mounting height
1. Mounting and wiring the light fitting
Recommended installation
DANGER:
Incorrect voltage may cause electric shock. If you are
not sure, please contact your retailer.
CAUTION :
Do not remove the tape until you finish the installation.
If the tape comes off the light, please replace it or hold
the light head to avoid swiveling and damage tothe
product.
CAUTION :
LED lamps are extremely bright. Under no
circumstances should you stare into an LED beam
since this may cause irreparable damagetothe eye.
IMPORTANT :
Please make sure the voltage and polarity are correct
before connection.
NOTE :
To ensure correct operation of the sensor, mount the
light fixture so that the traffic passes across the
detector.
Installation
• Feed the cable through the back mounting box, using
caution to avoid abrasion to the cable.
• Place plastic masonry plugs into desired surface aligning
holes as shown below.
• Using a screwdriver, fasten the backplate directly to the
surface using drywall screws.
• Ensure the gasket is installed between the wall and the
mounting plate.
• Wire the light unit as shown; (Ensure all wires are connected
securely and that no loose strands are exposed)
• Make sure the polarity is correct. Double check the
connections after wiring. Errors may damage the motion
sensor or cause a fire hazard

IMPORTANT :
Remove all plastic tape from the NW750 before
powering on.
.CAUTION :
Allow 1 minute warm -up time after switching on.
Do not touch NW7 50 during warm -up time to avoid
interruption of start -up sequence.

Connecting the NW750 to the Wi-Fi Network
The NightWatcher NW750 has a built-in Wi-Fi module which can be connected to the local Wi-Fi network, enabling the broadcast
of live video and message alerts to a dedicated app, running on an iOS or Android smartphone. The performance of the
NightWatcher is dependent on the quality of the Wi-Fi signal and we therefore recommend the following prior to installation;
• Ensure the NightWatcher is installed within close range of the Wi-Fi router.
• Stand next to the NightWatcher and test the strength of the Wi-Fi signal using a smartphone.
• Avoid thick exterior walls as these can limit the range of the Wi-Fi signal.
• If the Wi-Fi signal is not strong enough, consider the following options;
• If possible, relocate the router closer to the NightWatcher
• Install a Wi-Fi Range Extender closer to the NightWatcher
Installation Summary
The installation process involves the following steps;
1. After installation, power up the NightWatcher.
2. Press and hold the Mode button on the base of the NW750 to disable the light movement. (The light in the PIR will flash)
3. Open the SD card flap using the Allen key provided and insert the Micro-SD card with the text facing up, then close and secure
the SD card flap.
4. Check the red light is on next to the SD card slot; this indicates that the NightWatcher is not connected to the Wi-Fi.
5. Download the free “NightWatcherPro” app to an iOS or Android device.
6. Using the instructions below using the app, the Night Watcher’s unique ID is permanently connected to the Wi-Fi.
7. Once the NightWatcher is successfully connected, the light next to the SD Card flap will turn green. The light will flash green
whilst connecting to the Wi-Fi and remain a steady green when connected.
8. Press the Mode button on the base of the NW750 to activate the robotic motion. (The light in the PIR will change to a solid colour)
NB: If the connection is not successful, you can reset the NightWatcher;
• Press and hold the Mode button on the base of the NW750 to disable the light movement. (The light in the PIR will flash)
• Press and hold the reset button on the top of the NightWatcher for 15 seconds. The light next to the SD card flap will change to
red to indicate the reset has been successful.
Connecting the NW750 using an Apple iOS device
Firstly ensure your iOS device is connected to the Wi-Fi network you intend to use for the NightWatcher NW750.
1. Open the NightWatcherPro App.
3. Select “Set camera Wi-Fi network 4. Double-click the Home button and go to Settings, then
select the camera number in the “Choose a network” list.
(Make a note of the number for future reference)

5. Enter the camera password; enter 0
followed by the camera number;
e.g. 0 1789944
6. The iOS device will then be connected to the
NightWatcher NW750
7. Double-click the Home button and go back to the
NightWatcherPro app.
8.The “Set camera Wi-Fi” screen will then request the
password of the selected Wi-Fi network

9. Enter the password of the selected Wi-Fi network
and press OK
10. The App will confirm that the NightWatcher NW750 is
successfully connected to the Wi-Fi network. NB: the light
on the side of the NightWatcher NW750 will change from
red to green, to indicate the light is now connected to the
Wi-Fi network.
11. Double-click the Home button and go back to Settings. . 12. Then reconnect to the Wi-Fi network

13. Double-click the Home button and go to the
NightWatcherPro App.
14. The camera number will be visible next to “Camera ID”; the
default “Camera name” is admin and the default “Password”
is 123456. Press “Login”
15. The camera number is now visible in the “Camera List”. 16. Select the camera number to view the live camera image
17. The NightWatcher NW750 is now installed.

1. Open the NightWatcherPro App. 2. Select Camera Login”
Firstly ensure your Android device is connected to the Wi-Fi network you intend to use for the NightWatcher NW750.
3. Select “Wireless Camera Configuration” and
the Camera ID will display in the list. (If the
camera ID does not display, press “Flush” to
scan for available cameras.)
4. Press to select the Camera ID. (The camera will then
be paired with your Wi-Fi network.)

5. Enter the password for the Wi-Fi network,
then press “Next”
6. The Android device will then be connected to the
NightWatcher NW750.
7. The camera number will be visible next to
“Camera ID”; the default “Camera name”
is admin and the default “Password” is
123456. Press “Login”
8. The live camera feed is now visible in the Video
Preview screen
Waste electrical and electronic products should not be disposed
