1. Before You Start
Thank you very much for purchasing this portable DVD player. These
precautions explain how to use the player correctly and safely, thereby
preventing you or others from injury. This section relates to your personal
safety, and also helps minimize the risk of damaging the device. To ensure
proper use of this product, please read carefully before proceeding and retain
this user manual for further reference.
1.1. Safety Cautions
yKeep the device away from fire or electric shock.
yDo not open the device or attempt to disassemble it.
yDo not insert fingers or foreign objects into the device.
yDo not expose the device to rain, use it near water or in damp or wet
conditions or place containers on it that contain liquids which might
spill into any openings.
yIf liquids enter the device, switch the device off immediately and
unplug it from the power outlet.
yMake sure the power outlet is electrically grounded, and do not touch
the plug with wet hands.
yFollow the Operation Manual carefully. Follow the correct procedures
when setting up the device.

1.2. Things you must know of the player
Transportation
Although this portable player comes with high excellent suspension design, it’s
highly recommended to remove the disc from the device during transportation
to prevent the disc from scratching. The power should be turned off and the
power cord should be unplugged if you’re going to transport the player.
Installation
A stable platform is better for the player reading data from discs; do not settle
the player on top of a TV nor a CRT monitor. Magnetic force is also what you
have to take into consideration when finding a proper portion, any devices with
magnetism may affect the function and operation of the player.
Placement
Do not place any object on the player, the TFT panel is extremely fragile and
any pressure may cause unrecoverable damage to it.
Power
It would be better to turn off the power of player when it’s not in use; it’s
helpful to extend the lifespan of the player and prevent interference to TV
image especially when they are connected.
Safety
It is strongly recommended not using the player while driving.
Some countries and states have laws to prohibit or severely restrict the use of
the player in vehicles, airplanes, and hospitals.
Do not leave the player or the battery pack in places with extremely high (60ºC
and above) or extremely low (-10 ºC and below) temperature. This kind of
extreme environment may seriously damage the quality of the player such as
warping the outer case or reducing the lifespan of battery pack.

Cleaning
Mostly you just need to clean the player with a soft and dry cloth; for tough dirt,
just get some neutral detergent diluted in 5 or 6 parts water to a soft cloth and
wring out thoroughly, wipe out the dirt and then wipe the player again with a
dry cloth immediately.
Note that alcohol, thinner, benzene, insecticides, etc., may cause failure to the
coating and printing on the surface. Please also avoid leaving rubber or plastic
stuffs in contact with the player for long periods, as this may damage the
cabinet.
Last but not least, always unplug the power cord from the power outlet before
cleaning the player.

2.1. Overview
Thank you for purchasing this Portable DVD Player. This Portable DVD Player
goes with excellent reading capabilities and supports various CD/DVD formats
widely. It allows you to enjoy watching your favorite movies in a much
luxurious way. In this manual, we will explain how to have it work correctly and
properly. Please read this manual carefully before using the player.
2.2. Main Features
Excellent Compatibility
This portable player supports almost all major CD/DVD formats you can ever
find. It also offers full compatibility to your former CD discs. What’s more, this
player even supports JPEG CD for you to share your happy memories with your
friends and family.
Rock-solid Reliability
An improved anti-shock design theatrically increases the reliability. Optimum
power control continually monitors signal levels during reading data from discs
and adjusts laser power to compensate for those discs in bad condition. This
improvement ensures a stable data flow read of discs, significantly enhancing
the reliability.
Compact size
Outstanding ID design accomplishes the compact size. And the nice portability
also makes it convenient to enjoy the movies anytime and anywhere. A home

Slot-In Design

2.4. The Handling of Disc
Please read the following regarding the handling of CD/DVD discs.
yDo not expose the discs to excessive heat such as in direct sunlight or
near a heater. Also avoid keeping them in a humid place.
yDo not touch disc surfaces. When handling a disc, hold it by its edges.
yRemove dust and dirt from disc surfaces. Use air-based dust removers.
The surfaces may be scratched if wiped with a dry cloth. Do not clean
discs with chemicals or detergents.
yDo not bend or drop discs, nor stick labels on disc surfaces.

3. Enjoy the movie with no pain
It cannot be easier to enjoy the DVD video with this portable DVD player. With
this portable DVD player, all the complex setting and steps could be skipped
and cast behind your back; the only thing you have to do is just slot the disc
into the player and throw yourself down to the couch.
3.1. First Contact
First of all, plug the
adapter to an outlet.
Secondly, connect the other
side of the power cord to the
jack marked “DC-IN” at the
left side of the player, and
turn the power on.
Finally, put your DVD
disc into the slot at
right side and that’s it!
