Der Prothesenhandschuh wird als Schutzhandschuh für eine Prothesenhand verwendet.
Das PVC-Material zeichnet sich durch seine Robustheit und Haltbarkeit aus.
Das Erscheinungsbild wurde dem einer echten Hand nachempfunden, um ein hohes Maß an Na
türlichkeit zu erreichen.
Die Fingernägel sind nicht lackierbar.
Die folgenden Prothesenhandschuhe sind für Herren geeignet:

2 Verwendung
2.1 Verwendungszweck
Das Produkt ist ausschließlich für die prothetische Versorgung der oberen Extremität einzusetzen.
2.2 Einsatzgebiet
Das Produkt ist für den Einsatz in Alltagsaktivitäten entwickelt. Es darf nicht für Aktivitäten ver
wendet werden, bei denen es unzulässigen Umgebungsbedingungen und Belastungen ausge
setzt wird (z.B. Extremsportarten).
2.3 Umgebungsbedingungen

2.4 Nutzungsdauer
Das Produkt ist ein Verschleißteil, das einer natürlichen Abnutzung unterliegt. Die Nutzungsdauer
verkürzt oder verlängert sich je nach individuellem Beanspruchungsgrad. Nur bei Beachtung der
Gebrauchsanweisung kann die dem Beanspruchungsgrad entsprechende maximale Nutzungs
dauer erreicht werden.

4 Gebrauch
4.1 Hinweise für den täglichen Gebrauch

Ein Prothesenhandschuh ermöglicht, die Prothesenhand im täglichen Leben zu benutzten.
Dafür ist es notwendig, sich durch praktische Übungen im Verlauf einer Therapie mit dem
Produkt vertraut zu machen, um es in den verschiedensten Situationen sicher gebrauchen zu
können.

Verschiedene Tätigkeiten (z.B. im Haushalt und Garten) können den Prothesenhandschuh
durch unzulässige Umgebungsbedingungen verschmutzen oder beschädigen. Solche Tätig
keiten können dennoch ausgeführt werden, wenn entsprechende Schutzmaßnahmen (z.B.
Überziehen von Arbeits-, Sicherheitshandschuhe) getroffen und die notwendige Aufmerksam
keit und Sorgfalt an den Tag gelegt werden. Da sich leichte Verschmutzung nicht immer ver
meiden lassen, ist eine regelmäßige und umgehende Reinigung notwendig, um den Prothe
senhandschuh sauber zu halten. Farbintensive neue Kleidungsstücke sollten vor dem erstma
ligen Tragen gemäß Herstellerempfehlung gewaschen werden, um ein Abfärben zu reduzie
ren. Der vorsichtige Umgang mit Farben von Stiften, Druckern und Kopierern sowie mit
Druckerzeugnissen (z.B. Zeitungen, Kopien) ist wichtig, damit die Farbpartikel das Material
nicht dauerhaft verschmutzen.
4.2 Reinigung
HINWEIS
Nichtbeachtung der Reinigungsanweisungen
Schäden und dauerhafte Verschmutzungen am Produkt durch ungeeignete Reinigungsmittel
►Reinigen Sie das Produkt nur gemäß den Reinigungsanweisungen in der Gebrauchsanwei
sung.
Leichte Verschmutzungen
>Benötige Materialien:
warmes Wasser, Seife, Lappen, fusselfreies Tuch
1) Die Verunreinigungen vom Produkt mit warmen Wasser, Seife und Lappen entfernen.
2) Die Seifenrückstände mit Wasser abspülen.
3) Das Produkt mit einem fusselfreien Tuch abtrocknen und an der Luft vollständig trocknen las
sen.
Starke Verschmutzungen
>Benötige Materialien:
Spezialreiniger 640F12, Pumpzerstäuber 640F13, sauberes, ungefärbtes Tuch (z.B. Zell
stoff, Leinen), Wasser, fusselfreies Tuch
1) HINWEIS! Das Produkt umgehend reinigen, damit starke Verschmutzungen sich nicht
dauerhaft im Material festsetzen.
Den Spezialreiniger auf die verunreinigte Stelle des Produkts sprühen und kurz einwirken las
sen.
2) Die Verunreinigungen vom Produkt mit einem sauberen, ungefärbten Tuch mit leichtem Druck
abwischen.
3) Die Reiniger- und Schmutzrückstände mit Wasser abspülen.
4) Das Produkt mit einem fusselfreien Tuch abtrocknen und an der Luft vollständig trocknen las
sen.
5 Entsorgung
Das Produkt darf nicht überall mit unsortiertem Hausmüll entsorgt werden. Eine nicht den Bestim
mungen des Verwenderlands entsprechende Entsorgung kann sich schädlich auf die Umwelt und
die Gesundheit auswirken. Die Hinweise der für das Verwenderland zuständigen Behörde zu
Rückgabe-, Sammel- und Entsorgungsverfahren beachten.
6 Rechtliche Hinweise
Alle rechtlichen Bedingungen unterliegen dem jeweiligen Landesrecht des Verwenderlandes und
können dementsprechend variieren.

6.1 Haftung
Der Hersteller haftet, wenn das Produkt gemäß den Beschreibungen und Anweisungen in diesem
Dokument verwendet wird. Für Schäden, die durch Nichtbeachtung dieses Dokuments, insbe
sondere durch unsachgemäße Verwendung oder unerlaubte Veränderung des Produkts verur
sacht werden, haftet der Hersteller nicht.
6.2 CE-Konformität
Das Produkt erfüllt die Anforderungen der europäischen Richtlinie 93/42/EWG für Medizinpro
dukte. Aufgrund der Klassifizierungskriterien nach AnhangIX dieser Richtlinie wurde das Produkt
in die KlasseI eingestuft. Die Konformitätserklärung wurde deshalb vom Hersteller in alleiniger
Verantwortung gemäß AnhangVII der Richtlinie erstellt.

2 Application
2.1 Indications for use
The product is to be used solely for upper limb prosthetic fittings.
2.2 Area of application
The product has been developed for use in everyday activities. It must not be used for activities
where it would be exposed to unallowable environmental conditions or strains (e.g. extreme
sports).

2.4 Service Life
The product is a wear part, which means it is subject to natural wear and tear. The service life
diminishes or increases depending on the individual level of use. Only when the instructions for
use are observed it is possible to achieve the maximal service life, in dependence of the level of
use.

The sections "Area of application" and "Environmental conditions", as well as the safety informa
tion, contain important information regarding the safe use of the product and point out how dam
age to the product can be avoided.
The following points provide suggestions how problems that occur in daily use can be addressed:
•Safehandlingoftheproduct
A prosthetic glove enables the use of the prosthetic hand in everyday life. Practical exercises
are required within a course of therapy to become familiar with the product, which makes it
possible to use the product safely in a wide range of situations.
•Preventionofsoilinganddamage
A range of activities (e.g. in the house and garden) can cause soiling or damage to the pros
thetic glove due to unallowable environmental conditions. It is nevertheless possible to per
form these activities by taking corresponding protective measures (e.g. putting on working or
safety gloves) and exhibiting due care and attention. Because it is not always possible to
avoid light soiling, regular and immediate cleaning is required to keep the prosthetic glove
clean. In order to reduce bleeding, strongly coloured clothing should be washed according to
the manufacturer’s recommendations before being worn for the first time. Using caution when
handling coloured pens, printers and copiers as well as printed matter (e.g. newspapers,
photocopies) is important in order to avoid pigment particles from permanently staining the
material.
4.2 Cleaning
NOTICE
Non-observance of cleaning instructions

►Only clean the product according to the cleaning instructions provided in the instructions for
use.
Light soiling
>Materials required:
warm water, soap, cloth, lint-free cloth
1) Clean the product with warm water, soap and a cloth.
2) Rinse off soap residues with water.
3) Dry the product with a lint-free cloth and allow it to air dry fully.
Heavy soiling
>Materials required:
640F12 Special Cleaner, 640F13 Pump Sprayer, clean, undyed cloth (e.g. cellulose, linen),
water, lint-free cloth
1) NOTICE! Clean the product promptly to avoid heavy dirt from permanently contaminat
ing the material.
Spray the special cleaner on to the soiled area of the product and leave to take effect for a
short time.
2) Wipe off the dirt from the product with a clean, undyed cloth using light pressure.
3) Rinse off residual cleaner and dirt with water.
4) Dry the product with a lint-free cloth and allow it to air dry fully.
5 Disposal
This product may not be disposed of with regular domestic waste in all jurisdictions. Disposal that
is not in accordance with the regulations of the country where the product is used may have a det
rimental impact on health and the environment. Please observe the information provided by the
responsible authorities in the country of use regarding return, collection and disposal procedures.

2 Utilisation
2.1 Usage prévu
Le produit est exclusivement destiné à l’appareillage prothétique des membres supérieurs.

Le produit est conçu pour une utilisation au cours des activités du quotidien. Il ne doit pas être
utilisé pour des activités au cours desquelles il est soumis à des conditions d’environnement et à
des sollicitations non autorisées (parex. sports extrêmes).

2.4 Durée d’utilisation

s’allonge en fonction du degré de sollicitation de chacun. La durée d’utilisation maximale corres
pondant au degré de sollicitation ne peut être garantie que si les instructions d’utilisation sont
respectées.

Les points suivants comportent des suggestions permettant de résoudre les problèmes se posant
au quotidien:
•Utilisation du produit en toute sécurité
Un gant prothétique permet d’utiliser la main prothétique au quotidien. Pour cela, il est néces
saire de se familiariser avec le produit par le biais d’exercices pratiques effectués dans le
cadre d’une thérapie afin de pouvoir l’utiliser en toute sécurité dans les situations les plus di
verses.
•Éviterlessalissuresetlesdommages
Différentes activités (parex. les travaux ménagers ou au jardin) peuvent salir ou endommager
le gant prothétique en raison de conditions d’environnement non autorisées. De telles activi
tés peuvent toutefois être pratiquées en prenant les mesures de protection correspondantes
(parex. en mettant des gants de travail, de sécurité) et en faisant preuve d’attention et de
soin. Étant donné qu’il n’est pas toujours possible d’éviter une légère salissure, un nettoyage
régulier et immédiat est nécessaire pour garder le gant prothétique propre. Avant leur pre
mière utilisation, il est recommandé de laver les vêtements neufs dégorgeant beaucoup en
respectant les consignes du fabricant afin de réduire l’effet de décoloration sur le gant. Il est
important de manipuler avec précaution les encres de stylos, imprimantes et photocopieuses
ainsi que les supports imprimés (p.ex. journaux, copies) afin d’éviter toute salissure durable
du matériau par les particules colorées.
4.2 Nettoyage
AVIS

►Nettoyez le produit uniquement en suivant les consignes de nettoyage énoncées dans les
instructions d’utilisation.
Salissures légères
>Matériel nécessaire:
eau chaude, savon, chiffon, chiffon ne formant pas de peluches
1) Éliminer les salissures du produit avec de l’eau chaude, du savon et un chiffon.
2) Rincer les restes de savon avec de l’eau.
3) Essuyer le produit à l’aide d’un chiffon ne formant pas de peluches et laisser sécher entière
ment à l’air.
