Key Function
Dial/Answer
Key
Press to answer a call or make a call after you enter a phone number. In idle mode, press
to view Call history.
End/Power
Key
Press to end a call. Press and hold to turn the phone on/off. Within a menu, press to
return to idle mode.
Left Soft
Key
In idle mode, press to enter the Main menu. Press to access the option listed directly
above on the display.
Right Soft
Key
In idle mode, press to access the Contacts.
Within a menu, press to return to the previous screen.
OK In idle mode, press to enter the main menu. Within a menu, press to confirm and/or
select the option listed above it.
Numeric
key
Press to enter the corresponding number, letter or symbol located on the key. Within a
menu, press to access the corresponding menu option.
# In idle mode, press and hold to set the profiles: Normal profile, Only vibration, Mute
and Offline profile.
Navigation
Key
Within a menu, press Up, Down, Left or Right to scroll through menu options.

Note: “Press” in this manual, means to press and release the key; “press and hold” means to press
and hold the key for at least 2 seconds.
2.4 Icons & Symbols
In idle mode, network and battery icons are displayed all the time. The rest of the icons appear if the
feature is available and do not appear if the feature is unavailable. If the network symbol is not displayed,
the network is currently unavailable. You may be in a bad reception area.
Icon Description
Network - The left portion indicates whether your phone is already registered with a
network and the right portion indicates signal strength (from no signal to strongest
signal).
Battery - Indicates battery level. When charging, a scrolling icon will be displayed. The
more bars displayed, the stronger the charge.
To log onto GPRS - The icon will be displayed only when you have logged onto GPRS.
MMS - Indicates you have one or more unread MMS messages.
Text message - Indicates you have one or more unread text messages.

Missed call - Indicates there is a missed call.
Call Divert - Indicates that “Call diverting” is activated.
Lock - Indicates that the keypad is locked.
Alarm - Indicates that the alarm clock is on.
Headset - Indicates that headset profile is activated.
Call alert type is “Vibration”.
Call alert type is “Vibration then Melody”, “Vibration and Melody” and “Vibration and
increasing melody”
Call alert type is “Melody” and “Increasing melody”.
Call alert type is “Mute”
Bluetooth is activated.
