1. Introduction
The PhD HDMI audio extractor, extracts audio signals
from any HDMI compliant source and outputs digital
toslink optical and analog stereo L/R audio. It also
supports bitstream audio downmix of Dolby Digital & DTS
to analog stereo output and retains optical and HDMI out
audio pass-through. The HDMI input and output supports
video resolutions up to 4K2K@50/60Hz 4:4:4. It supports
HDR 10 bit pass through and HDMI high resolution audio
formats : LPCM 2ch, Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital Plus,
Dolby Atmos and DTS Master Audio. Audio sampling
rates up to 192kHz, HDCP 2.2 and CEC bypass are also
supported.
