Important
◗This appliance is intended for household use
only.
C◗Assemble the appliance properly before
plugging it into the wall socket.
◗Unplug the appliance immediately after use,
i.e. before unscrewing the bar.
◗Avoid touching the SHARP blades, especially
when the appliance is plugged in.
◗Never immerse the motor unit in water.
◗Keep the appliance out of the reach of
children.
◗Do not exceed the quantities and preparation
times indicated in the table.
◗If the mains cord is damaged, it must be
replaced by Philips, a service centre
authorised by Philips or similarly qualified
persons in order to avoid a hazard.
◗If the blades get stuck, UNPLUG THE
APPLIANCE before removing the ingredients
that are blocking the blades.
C◗Let hot ingredients cool down before
chopping them or pouring them into the
beaker (max. temperature 80cC/175cF).
Using the appliance
Bar blender
The bar blender is intended for:
- Blending fluids, e.g. dairy products, sauces, fruit
juices, soups, mixed drinks, shakes.

- Mixing soft ingredients, e.g. pancake batter or
mayonnaise.
- Pureeing cooked ingredients, e.g. for making
baby food.
C1Immerse the blade guard completely in the
ingredients.
2Switch the appliance on and blend the
ingredients by moving the appliance slowly
up and down and in circles.
C3You can use the filter accessory to obtain
extra finely blended sauces or juices.
Chopper (type HR1351, HR1354)
◗The chopper attachment can be used for
chopping ingredients such as nuts, meat,
onions, hard cheese, dried fruits, chocolate,
garlic, herbs, dry bread etc.
1If the ingredients stick to the chopper
beaker wall, loosen them by adding liquid
or using a spatula.
C◗Make sure the coupling unit has been properly
fitted onto the chopper beaker.
C2Cut large ingredients into pieces of
approximately 2 cm/1 inch before
processing.

Whisk (type HR1354 only)
C◗You can use the whisk attachment to whip
cream, egg whites, desserts etc.
C1To obtain a good whipping result, please
use a wider bowl.
C2To avoid splashing, insert the whisk into
the bowl, switch the appliance on and whip
the ingredients by slowly moving the
appliance in circles.
Cleaning
1Clean the beaker, the lid, the filter, the
chopping beaker, the blade unit and the
whisk in the dishwasher or in warm soapy
water.
It is recommended to remove the rubber ring
from the chopper before cleaning.
2The blade unit and the whisk of the bar
blender can also be cleaned by immersing
the blade guard or the whisk in warm
soapy water and letting the appliance run
for a while.

3Wipe the motor unit, the coupling unit of
the chopper (HR1351 & 1354) and the
coupling unit of the whisk (HR1354) with a
damp cloth. Do not immerse these parts in
water!

L'APPAREILavant de retirer les ingrédients.
C◗Laissez les aliments cuits refroidir avant de les
hacher ou de les verser dans le bol
(température maximale 80cC/ 175cF).
Utilisation
Mixeur
Le mixeur est destiné à:
- Mélanger des ingrédients liquides, tels que les
produits laitiers, les sauces, les jus de fruits, les
soupes, les cocktails, et milk-shakes.

- Mixer des ingrédients mous comme des oeufs,
de la farine et du beurre, pour préparer des
pâtes à crêpes ou de la mayonnaise.
- Réduire en purée des aliments cuits, pour les
nourrissons par exemple.
C1Plongez entièrement le protège-couteau
dans les ingrédients.
2Mettez l'appareil en marche, et faîtes-le
tourner lentement, et de bas en haut, pour
mélanger les ingrédients.
C3Vous pouvez utiliser l'accessoire filtre pour
obtenir des sauces et jus plus onctueux
(HR1354 uniquement).
Hachoir (types HR1351, HR1354
uniquement)
◗Cet accessoire peut être utilisé pour hacher
des ingrédients tels que de la viande, des
oignons, du gruyère, des fruits secs, du
chocolat, de l'ail, des herbes, du pain sec, etc.
1Ajoutez du liquide ou utilisez une spatule,
pour délier les aliments qui collent à la
paroi du bol du hachoir.
C◗Assurez-vous que l'ensemble couteaux a été
correctement fixé sur le bol du hachoir.

C2Découpez les ingrédients en dés d'environ
2 cm, avant de commencer.
Fouet (type HR1354 uniquement)
C◗Vous pouvez utiliser le fouet pour battre la
crème, les blancs d'oeufs, desserts, etc.
C1Pour obtenir un meilleur résultat, utilisez
un bol plus large.
C2Pour éviter de faires des éclaboussures,
introduisez le fouet dans le bol, mettez
l'appareil en marche et fouettez les
ingrédients en faisant des mouvements
circulaires avec l'appareil.
Nettoyage
1Nettoyez le bol, le couvercle, le filtre, le
bol du hachoir, le couteau et le fouet au
lave-vaisselle ou à l'eau chaude savonneuse.
Il est conseillé de retirer le joint en caoutchouc du
hachoir avant de le nettoyer.
